Funtime is over, start behaving in here. You all know the rules and this isn't the place for some kind of comments or discussion. Keep it to the games and keep balance, the casters and meta discussions out of here.
Pretty please, with minerals on top. |

The changes to the map all seem to be tailored to benefit Protoss in ZvP.
Not that I think they arent warranted but it's obvious what they were for.

Sorry, it's not a change in style. It's a reversion to turtle into mass protoss ball without harassing or taking risks.
It'll let Protoss win a few, buuuuuut it's boring. Sorry, it just is =/

I'm not positive, but Alicia was incredibly stalker light, which seemed like a mistake considering the mobility of dropships on a map like that (can easily threaten all 3 bases of Alicia). If he had charge on zealots, he should have been able to have blink on stalkers to try and shut down the harass.
But that still seems to leave the problem of going facing mmmg when you've already invested so much in stalkers (ie stalkers suck when stim and medivacs are around).
One thing we didn't see much of is warp prism play loading HT. I'm not sure if that would have made a difference though because the WP is mostly for preventing EMP of energy. I can't imagine it having that much of an effect on snipe.
I agree with other posters that its not obvious to me that phoenix is the answer, but Im not sure it isn't the answer either. Seems like it would get crushed by common 2 base ghost timing pushes (which are super hard to stop with obs/twilight tech anyway).
warp prism for the HT would of been horrible because of how select delt with HT in those games. He did not use emp, he used snipe. If select sees 4 ht in a warp prism he can snipe it down for less energy then it would to take out all 4 HT on their own
Fail!. you cannot snipe WP

The second game select does super risky mass drop early that works only because Alicia 1) has no antiair 2) uses ff to negate his entire army of zealots. (surprised I didn't see more on that as it was like WTF ARE YOU DOING dumb) Rest of the game is just him getting out macroed cus he was wayyyy behind. (And he macroed terrible anyways.) So yeah. Great games by Select. And yes he counts as a foreigner in my heart
Not much complaining as much as people discussing what Alicia could of done. 1) He can't have antiair as stalkers are terrible against Bio; had he had more stalkers and less zealot, I think Select could of just walked right in and killed him straight up a few times. 2) Alicia didn't really get outmacro'd in a mechanic sense, it only seemed like it because Select was able to take more bases (including gold) both games.

Neural is actually quite bad if you don't neural all of the colossus

If MC wins will we see MC vs Select? I don't remember the brackets. Anyone?

Yea right, cuz this guy a-move his entire army in and NP after he lost all of his lings?? Oh wait did I miss anything else? May be he did a terrible fail attack in early game too?

Um, what is he supposed to do lmao? An all-in gateway timing push that all zergs can hold off nowadays so that people could complain about how he only all-ins instead of playing macro games, exactly like people always used to?

Yess neural so effective, I think it needs more nerf. -4 range

o monster...He has good ideas but bad execution.

By then, you have to hope you have Broodlords or you pretty much lose automatically.
However, Monster went Muta instead of BL and did no damage at all. =/

Terrible decisions by Monster. Most likely nerves I guess.
As for MC, I see him going back to his mass stalker play, with a bit more flair. Then again this is PvZ.

didn't like this zerg play at all. Delaying his 3rd to do that infestor push which ended up brutally raped sums up the game pretty much. As a result toss had his third faster than zerg did.

Lol Protoss so starved for a win. Its nice to see MC matched up verse a low level zerg

Funny thing is, although I can't tell if he saw the actual nexus, he clearly saw MC taking down the rocks with an overlord.

Hey look the best protoss in the world won against a zerg who mass spine pushed with no creep tumors!

just give us dark swarm instead of NP

Even taking into account being happy for MC and protoss winning, that game was pretty terrible.
