Funtime is over, start behaving in here. You all know the rules and this isn't the place for some kind of comments or discussion. Keep it to the games and keep balance, the casters and meta discussions out of here.
Pretty please, with minerals on top. |

Huk is a foreigner who is Korean-trained. Like Select is foreign-trained. Can't have it both ways. If you refer to Huk as a foreigner, you refer to Select as a Korean. Also, he is training in a korean pro house now with other korean players as a part of the korean scene. So you really have no argument.
i dont even...difference between korean trained for a few months and korean trained for their WHOLE CAREER.

oh, i agree. but select is still considered a foreigner in the starcraft sense of the word, despite being korean

hopefully monster can play like nestea and roll over mc..odds of that happening are less than .01%

A see-saw tech switch game is not as entertaining as, say the TvZ tech switch game between Muta/Infestor/Ultra/Broodlord vs Marines/Thors/Marauder/Vikings If only Carriers could be that third option. I hope Carriers get buffed in the future so that this third option can be viable. I would love to see a Jangbi vs Fantasy type situation in SC2, where Carriers are capable of comeback victories when microed well. Well Fantasy went mech that game, I think maybe carriers would be useful vs terran mech, but vikings are pretty good. :/
and carriers are OP in BW because of the way that the interceptors work.

Wolf hitting us with some knowledge.

can someone tell me why there are more "rocks" at the third base?

Oh DoA stop trying to do that pls.

I kinda agree with him. Protoss needs a martyr

Not sure why people complain about balance for those games he didn't 1-1-1 or anything. The second game select does super risky mass drop early that works only because Alicia 1) has no antiair 2) uses ff to negate his entire army of zealots. (surprised I didn't see more on that as it was like WTF ARE YOU DOING dumb) Rest of the game is just him getting out macroed cus he was wayyyy behind. (And he macroed terrible anyways.) So yeah.
Great games by Select. And yes he counts as a foreigner in my heart

TERRANS NEVER HAD TO BE THE INNOVATIVE RACE. FUCK YOU DOA! zerg is the only race that's been forced to, and now protoss
|
I agree with Doa. For the PvZ metagame, I think that Protoss decline in the matchup is just a shift in the metagame. Even if no patches came, this matchup feels fine to me still.

Perhaps the Carrier could something similar? I heard that a few tweaks to Interceptor health, armor, and pathing to BW values can do wonders to the SC2 Carrier.
Oh well. I can only hope for wishful thinking.

I'm not positive, but Alicia was incredibly stalker light, which seemed like a mistake considering the mobility of dropships on a map like that (can easily threaten all 3 bases of Alicia). If he had charge on zealots, he should have been able to have blink on stalkers to try and shut down the harass.
But that still seems to leave the problem of going facing mmmg when you've already invested so much in stalkers (ie stalkers suck when stim and medivacs are around).
One thing we didn't see much of is warp prism play loading HT. I'm not sure if that would have made a difference though because the WP is mostly for preventing EMP of energy. I can't imagine it having that much of an effect on snipe.
I agree with other posters that its not obvious to me that phoenix is the answer, but Im not sure it isn't the answer either. Seems like it would get crushed by common 2 base ghost timing pushes (which are super hard to stop with obs/twilight tech anyway).
warp prism for the HT would of been horrible because of how select delt with HT in those games.
He did not use emp, he used snipe. If select sees 4 ht in a warp prism he can snipe it down for less energy then it would to take out all 4 HT on their own
