Funtime is over, start behaving in here. You all know the rules and this isn't the place for some kind of comments or discussion. Keep it to the games and keep balance, the casters and meta discussions out of here.

Pretty please, with minerals on top.

ugh, thats why I wanted Alicia to 3gate void ray all in =( I didn't think he stood a chance in a long game in the current PvT metagame, and the results was just as I expected unfortunately.

seriously though, two of the most consistent code S protoss players in Hongun & Genius clearly realize long games are not favorable, which is why I think they are pretty smart to continually just stick with 1 basing against terrans.

Alicia was so bm that game- He stayed in the game for like 10 minutes after he clearly lost. I realize that his life in code A was like ending and thats like psychologically depressing but still- that's just plain bm.

He has to fight his way through Code B AGAIN. How would you feel if you got knocked out of Code A by someone who got an easier way into Code A?

to be fair to Alicia, he could also attend MLG's and get a seeded invite, but we all know how well that turned out last time...

There's like a total of 10 foreigners that you could put up there and say "yeah, he might be able to beat a Korean" (Sjow, Select, Huk, Jinro, Naniwa, etc etc)

Whereas you pretty much have every Korean in the GSL that would be heavily favored against all the other foreigners. It's not a stretch.

Wins here and there are great, but Foreigners haven't been top 6 in the last 2 MLGs.
Reading comprehension is important. I didnt make a single claim about whether the gulph between the korean and foreign scene existed or not. I laughed at those who claimed Foreigners can not and would not win any games in GSL code A, even though [blah blah go read my post again].

Select IS korean... lol
Not at all what people mean when they say Korean, unless you think this entire site is engaged in some pseudo racial science. Attempt critical thought in the future.

what are you guys talking about foreigner beating Korean?

If anyone beats a Korean he automatically becomes Korean.

Therefore Korean will never lose to foreigners.

Select is Korean anyway.

Guys, Select is Korean. He's Korean by race, was born in Korea, lived there until he went to college, and was a pro Dawn of War player before playing SC2.

do you realise that when people refer to 'koreans' and 'foreigners' they're meaning training environment. yes select is korean, but he has not been training in a korean pro house with other korean players as a part of the korean scene. he has trained in the foreigner scene

You do realize the majority of people and Huk himself say he's a foreigner despite training in a korean pro house with other korean players as a part of the korean scene right?

Huk is a foreigner who is Korean-trained. Like Select is foreign-trained. Can't have it both ways. If you refer to Huk as a foreigner, you refer to Select as a Korean.

Also, he is training in a korean pro house now with other korean players as a part of the korean scene. So you really have no argument.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88

now that hes back in Korea, training in Korean prohouse, does that make him a true Korean in your book ?

well select is korean

his name is Ryoo Kyung Hyun. can't get any more Korean than Select. just because he is "claimed" as a foreigner doesnt mean he is a non-korean.

Lol, it's so funny reading the Protoss complaints after shrugging off months and months of Zerg complaints because their race was winning.

Btw racial imbalance or not, Select played incredible.

SeleCT's resurgence can be timed pretty neatly with him getting some good KR practice partners though =p Ever since NASL finals he's been playing with a ton of KR pros more regularly as far as I know.

MC has been losing for a while now. And not in a "OMG MC outplayed his opponent but still lost" kind of way either. He's just been straight up mediocre and uninspiring.

Bias overwhelming. God when will the idrage leave the collective Zerg hivemind?

No, he can't. He's only eligible for the Code S spot which is far far harder than getting the Code A invite.
