Funtime is over, start behaving in here. You all know the rules and this isn't the place for some kind of comments or discussion. Keep it to the games and keep balance, the casters and meta discussions out of here. Pretty please, with minerals on top.

I realize that his life in code A was like ending and thats like psychologically depressing but still- that's just plain bm. It's not BM; I love SeleCT and am SOO happy he won, but his control in the game previous (and that game at some points) just wasn't very good. All he needed was another storm that SeleCT didn't move out of and he would have been ahead. Heck, even in the last game he lost 6? ghosts because he left them behind. The problem was that he was on the defensive the ENTIRE GAME and let SeleCT get up a 3rd AND a 4th while he was up on supply and upgrades... even AFTER he lost 5 gateways to that really good drop. I got to hand it to SeleCT though, really good ghost play.

You get the unit that can handle drops if you don't want to get murdered by an early drop. If you don't, you're going to get murdered by an early drop.

When you have archon/templar, Terran makes ghosts/medivacs, then Protoss makes colossus which forces vikings, and then Protoss switches back to Archons. If only Protoss had a third option. A see-saw tech switch game is not as entertaining as, say the TvZ tech switch game between Muta/Infestor/Ultra/Broodlord vs Marines/Thors/Marauder/Vikings

Straight forward macro battle (in which Alicia also had a chance to macro his way) and engagement. I was dazzled by Select's performance. Only thing bothers from his play his tendency to overstim. And.. those EMP, ugh. But you can't blame him for using that. After this game if MC meets Select, I won't be surprised if MC opts for Colossus tech first before templar tech. I'm a lot more worried about MC vs Monster right now than MC vs Select. Every time MC and Select have met in a major tournament in the past MC has won pretty cleanly.

He's Korean by race, was born in Korea, lived there until he went to college, and was a pro Dawn of War player before playing SC2. do you realise that when people refer to 'koreans' and 'foreigners' they're meaning training environment. yes select is korean, but he has not been training in a korean pro house with other korean players as a part of the korean scene. he has trained in the foreigner scene
