I was going to write something epic for my 1k post, but then I couldn't think of anything, so I thought I would just write-up a thank you to all the people on TL for being awesome and being so accepting to the new guys who only came in when SC2 was born. But then, i was watching the GSL Code S group selection show, and this happened in the LR thread....

And now for a list of people who I'm thankful for, and that most of them won't read :
Thank you to my IRL friend BrTarolg for getting me into Starcraft in the first place. I only played the single player of SC1 and BW, but he reminded me of how good the game was, and how good SC2 will be (this was back in the beta.) You may now be playing any more, but you got me into the thing I now love, so I'm defiantly grateful for that.
Thank you to Husky for starting off the SC2 love. You get a lot of flak for your casting, but you're awesome, and I'm, pretty proud to say you brought me into the game and began the love
Thank you to Day9 for changing what was just a hobby of mine from time to time, into a genuine love for the game. You're awesome and I'm glad the community has someone like yourself leading the front for the future (ok, I'm so shit at writing this stuff.)
Thank you to the LR writers (Probe1 and MrCon, I'm looking at you) for keeping us all updated on the happenings of each major event, and giving us a platform for live discussion over all the events. It can get heated at times (ok, all the time) but its still a great thing for us, and I hope the rest of the people who regularly join in on the LR threads give you the same respect that you deserve.
Thank you Torte, OpticalShot and others for being awesome and rocking up the Blog section. Its cool to see that more human side of the TL community there, and its always nice to see the positive responses that people get when they share their real life troubles/experiences to the rest of us. May the Q&A Girl Blog thread live for years!
REALLY thank you to the TL mods. I've tried to follow the rules as much as I can, but i'm glad you guys are there to warn me when I'm out of line. Plus, your interaction with the community is pretty much always awesome. Don't ever change
And finally, thank you to the TL community. I think I would have just given up on the game ages ago if it wasn't backed up by people who genuinely give a damn about it, and showed me why its a game worth giving a damn about. Sure, we have the odd person ruining it for the rest of us, but everyone else has made joining TL a joy and a privilege for me.

Congrats! If I remember correctly I'm approaching the same milestone. I followed the BW scene a short while before the beta of SC2 but I didn't really start posting until it launched, so I guess we've got that in common. :D

Also, you're IRL friends with BrTarolg? OMG why aren't you in TL MapleStory yet? Well he quit like long time ago, but he was the founder of the awesome lets-play movement after all.

Yep, we went to the same uni. I know him through poker (he's good, I'm not.) He's still around, just not SC2 stuff last I spoke to him

Kona i'll never forget when you didnt turn up to the TLmeet because you were "revising" and then when we were all playing at the lancafe we ended up watching you stream proleague and were like "wtf i thought he was revising"
