Im not really a fan of EG to be honest (I used to be a fan of incontrol until i realised how much of a douche he is) but i think this house will increase their skill level immensely , probably not to a korean level but it will help for sure.
I hope idra gets off his high horse now that hes in the team house and realises that he needs to practice more than 3 hours a day.

Yeah it was super sick that they had Idra in a Bugatti Veyron.

WTF is with the 4 door garage? Without any garage at all, they have a driveway that could fit FIVE TO TEN cars, why the heck would they need garages?
If those garage were bedrooms and/or other rooms, they could probably increase the house's capacity by like 50-100% — It's ridiculous.
Stupid American culture is such a joke.

It's because Video Game players are used to living in Garages and Basements duh, don't you know?
on topic though, hope it helps them.

I'm glad you could enlighten me with your intelligent and well thought out post. The bigger joke is you bashing on a fucking HOUSE for having a garage and then collectively lumping in a whole culture with it.

Stupid American culture is such a joke. Well I wouldn't be surprised it the house doesn't have a basement as many out west do not. Most houses in my neighborhood have 3 car garages and one is purely for storage since there are no basements.
Plus the house looks to be a good size so having that many garages makes sense. In my house there are 4 cars and soon to be 5 as my sibling will be getting one. And Arizona has terrible dust storms and you really don't want your cars in them.

I can't tell if you're trolling or being serious...
Anyways, the EG house looks pretty nice. I'm just concerned about Puma's situation being Korean and all on an American team.

Well, to be fair his no reasoning and generalizations aside. It is kinda gross when you compare this to the Korean Gaming houses.
I don't hate any of the EG guys but it really feels bad that a Team like MVP, SlayerS, OGS, which have better players IMO and a way deeper roster than EG live in much worse conditions while the EG team whoch has little results is living in such an awesome house.
Its kinda understandable that some people get upset over that.
Ehhh, I guess all that is left is wish good luck to the EG guys and congrats for such an awesome house

Man I hope people like Machine realize how great an opportunity they are being given and practice hard to show they are worthy of the opportunity. Cause frankly, guys like Machine results have been horrible lately and they don't really deserve such a great chance if they aren't trying as hard as tons of other players out there. They really need to step up their game if they want to call themselves a pro gamer and do this as a job.

This is actually not true, all top teamhouses started out being super gosu. If you look at the formation of IM, TSL, oGs, Prime and so on, they all had core players when they started the house. Of course those core players are no longer the highest tier players right now but they propelled the younger and lessor players with faster hands to become better. Yes practicing does help players get better but at the end if you want faster progress you need someone who can pull them up from the top.

SAME. I'm so jealous, but sadly I suck at Sc2.
I'm really eager to see the inside of this place. On the outside it looks amazing.

You can say IdrA and Puma could "pull them up".

Really awesome, <3 all the guys at EG and I hope they train really hard and make the most of this situation.
Give them 3-4 months and I bet you'll really start to see the training pay off. I'd urge people not to judge the success of the house based on the next 1-2 events. It always takes a few months to adjust to these kinds of big changes. Give em till December or early 2012 and then we'll see!

House will fail for obvious reasons, lack of skilled players, "fruitdealer syndrome" (partying instead of practicing), and standard e-girl related drama.

This makes me embarrassed to be Canadian. Please don't group us with people like this!
Anyway, i don't know how much the house will help, but i know it will help some, as long as training schedules are enforced.

I'm beginning to believe people are just posting in this thread because they want to show how ignorant they are.
You don't get better by constantly losing to the best player in the world. You get better by training. If playing against bad players meant you would be bad forever, then bronze-gold league players would NEVER get promoted. You get better simply because you're training. As team EG, as a whole, gets better, their training will become higher and higher level.
