By the way, for those curious how much living expenses cost in the metro Phoenix area, it's very affordable; for example in Scottsdale, voted one of 10 best cities to live in America, you can find cheaper yet much nicer housing than where I use to live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (Univ. Mich campus), which is also a very nice little city. To give you an idea, if the 6 of them were to split rent for that particular without relying on their sponsors, they could do it for just over $300 / month per person.
Make sure you guys have a house warming party so I can crash it!

I think that this EG house is probably worth less than whatever the korean teams are living in considering that property in Seoul is likely worth 20x more than property in Arizona.

makes sense to me why someone could theoretically be upset? you really don't see it? they probably think that a team like slayers who has accomplished much deserves better living conditions than a team that has accomplished nothing like EG.
obviously it's not a rational thought, but it's not like korean teams care anyways. i would think that they would prefer their houses either way since it would produce better results. less chance of being lazy and team bonding etc

i honestly think that Idra and co. aren't trying to be the best players in the world with this. It's just to be pretty good, hang out, and market themselves to make some money. I'm pretty sure someone like machine does not expect to be able to compete with mvp or nestea because of this house.

Korea isnt just better at starcraft, they are better at just about everything. Because the general consensus is to actually try. And thats what it comes down too.
You want to give the foreign scene a chance? Call me when they ether decide to:
1. When they all decide to become organized, form houses and practice as a unit, sharing information allowing the best to come out on top.
2. Move to Korea to practice and bring back what they learned to apply it here.
Thats the only way the foreign scene has a chance.
