Free dr pepper, stride gum, towels ect. I dont think i ever waited to use the bathroom when I went in there was always an open stall and they had people working the bathrooms to keep them clean at all times. The crowd was always into what was going on. In one of the games Jinro gets an epic Nuke off and the entire place went crazy! I couldnt get the smile off my face that weekend it was just a very awesome and positive atmosphere ill definitely be attending more event in the future if I can. I understand the situation with the sating with regards to it being a fire hazard if they have too many seats int he venue my only suggestion would be to get more comfortable seats if possible. I got to the even when the doors opened on Saturday to get a good seat but after a couple of hours i decided to stand because the seats were very uncomfortable and very narrow. Its not really a big deal just one thing I noticed that could be improved.

Only one guy heard "Yeah, we won these seats too... through hard work." The other guy said nothing other than Xeris kicked them out. For some reason, I think there is another side to the story. Seriously, Xeris has been a community contributor since the days of BW. You can bash NASL all you want (because it definitely did have its problem), but you cannot say that NASL did not do a good thing for e-sports (though I've actually seen some people with bigger self-entitlement issues actually say so) and you cannot say the Xeris did a big part in advancing that. Xeris has brought us Fnatic.MSI with his hard work as well. It is two random reddit posters vs Xeris. I think I'm going to give Xeris the benefit of the doubt. That is some flawed ass logic youve got there Same reasoning leads to the flagrant abuse seen in many communities by the police, its just "random people" vs "upholders of justice." I've heard xeris has had his head up his ass a few times before this, no surprise here Flawed logic? Seriously, he is not saying that people should not give Xeris crap IF he did that, he wants to give him the benefit of the doubt. Nobody mentioned that Xeris should get a special treatment, but its ridiculous how many people are bashing Xeris based on a reddit thread where only 2 people seem to be the only ones saying it. No evidence or anything. From what I see, Xeris has a lot more to lose from this than the other people claiming that they totally saw Xeris doing that. This is borderline Highschool drama. Of course if proof emerges that it was actually Xeris, then yeah people have all the right to dislike him but so far I think its fair to at least give Xeris the benefit of the doubt Well actually its more than 2 people. Theres Desmos, HuskyHog, LiquidGaga(topic creator), qetuoadgjlxvn(whose seat got stolen), LazyScout from this very thread. The LiquidGaga guy already more or less ID him. Now we just need to hear what Xeris has to say about this. Doesn't seem like there's much he can say. He acted like an asshole, and I doubt an apology is going to make us chance our view of him. The best he can do is try to manner up. He's not going to manner up because he's a sociopath. The best you can do is just ignore him, move on, and just accept that some people just don't give a damn about others. That's what the real world is like.

As to the situation with Xeris, I hope to god there is some other side to the story. I can't imagine how someone can be so ridiculously arrogant, without joking/sarcasm. It doesnt matter how much you've done for the community, it does not entitle you to belittle others. Fnatic itself has no transgressions here as a whole, and it isn't right to bash their players because of this. However, if this does turn true, then I will distance myself from the team and it's sponsors as long as Xeris is their representative. Thankfully Sen is leaving Fnatic, so I can still root for him and still watch him. I also will not be supporting NASL. Edit: OMG they had free towels at MLG. My desire to go has been increased 10 fold. I am totally serious.

MLG Dallas was the most horrible SC2 tournament. NASL provided the most entertaining finals of SC2 so far imo.

MLG is more than MLG Dallas, and NASL is more than the final matchup, which has nothing to do with the actual tournament but rather the players who are facing each other.

Dallas's failures were not due to lack of hard work from MLG; they were mostly due to lack of internet backbone and infrastructure in Texas.

Just an extra 10$ from each head would make a decent dent I would think. What means it can help go to the prize pools of the event what happens to be lacking for the most part.

The background music after games were super loud (like you're at a club). It would've been nice to have some peace and quiet, but we didn't want to lose our seats lol. i didn't bother going day 2 or 3 because it was REALLY crowded, and we knew there was no chance of getting seats unless you go super early in the morning. If we had to stand far in the back, there gets a point where it's actually hard to watch the games because the projector was far away. i got to see mma and mvp play up close when they weren't playing on the main stage though, so that was really cool. how often do you get to see a top korean's fpvod? (besides byun streaming or something). they play so quick but efficient, its amazing bleachers would've been awesome or something along those lines. sucks for the people who have to stand behind people who are 6'5'' and/or 300 pounds lol Sundance is a cool guy and gotta give props to him for running MLG so smoothly. Yeah, MLG had some rocky events, but they've been improving each time. Yeah sundance is awesome, it was almost impossible to get day9's autograph because of how busy he was so I approached sundance randomly and asked if he could get it for me. He said yes and immediately took my mouse pad back to day9, got the autograph and then contacted me on twitter later that night to return the mousepad to me in the hotel lobby. It was so cool that he went so far out of his way to help out a single fan <3. He also gave his pizza to a friend of mine after overhearing how hungry he was and no I'm not kidding about that.

The only time I heard cheering was when MMA or BoxeR was playing (didn't watch that many matches)... I was in the crowd cheering and yelling, and I checked the streams last night and the mics didn't seem to pick up our chants as well as I thought. But we were LOUD. I'm sure more videos will be released like the one on the first page of this thread of our reactions. Maybe on the stream we did not sound as loud as Columbus, but being there in person I feel like we were at least 5 times as loud. We shook the convention center with our voices.
