Page 26 and onwards I will issue at least two day bans to anyone who clearly has not read the original topic post and the explanations contained therein. He was barred access to the event days before the actual event took place and used some random diamond player his account to try and get in anyway.

Thereby not implying whether he bought account or not means he broke the rules - however pathetic - less or not.

His team bought one. Thats what doesnt make sense. He kew he would get banned from the tounry even before playing 1 round.
But well I talked to Dox per PM. I assume MajOr was just stupid to get his team buying that account since he knew he would get banned.
Just doesnt make sense at all.

The account he used to smurf here he borrowed from some diamond guy who signed up for the tournament, I think he even did ask the guy about borrowing the account while he was streaming.
But who knows, he could have another SEA account he brought after they sussed him out on this one. Hell, 50% of the accounts on SEA could be Majors! We just dont have any proof of this NOT being the case!

On July 18 2011 15:40 Azzur wrote: No, it's really a big deal because Major ruined the tournament for quite a few players
This is really what it comes down to.
Try telling any of the people Major knocked out of the tournament that it's "not a big deal" they lost to someone who should never have been in the tournament to begin with. Try telling Dox it's "not a big deal" that he put up his own hard-earned cash for a tournament and Major shit all over it.
For me, the biggest issue isn't that Major did something shitty - there will always be assholes that try to get away with anything they can. Normally, when they get caught they get punished for it and life moves on. But if nothing substantive happens, in a visible fashion, people (both the community and Major himself), are going to feel like he got away with it, and there's no reason for him to stop pulling shit like this.
If people just turn up their hands and go ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ OH WELL when things like this happen, then it only encourages the behavior. Why stop doing it if it works sometimes, and nothing bad happens when it doesn't?
So, should Sixjax care about one of their players acting this way? Well, that's up to them. If all they care about are the players' ability in the game, then I guess not. But something to keep in mind is that as the game grows, it will become harder and harder to attract the best players to your team if it has a poor reputation based on the actions of some of its members (even a minority).
Should organizations like MLG, NASL, or the IPL care about what players do in other tournaments? Again, only they can decide what they think is in in the best interests of their own tournament. Honestly, I can't see this having any impact whatsoever on any of them as an isolated incident - it's not like I, or anyone else, will stop watching them if they allow Major to play in their next tournament. On the other hand, it's not like they'll lose viewers if they take a stand, either.
At this point, it's probably a wash no matter what happens, so I don't know what the point of my post is, honestly. I have a splitting headache and I'm rambling.

Meh, I was beginning to become a Major fan in terms of his cool Terran play, but if he's cheating honest tournaments (yes, I call this cheating) that try to do something for the community, then I won't watch any of his games. Very disappointed =(

so i wonder if there are going to be any longterm repercussions of this. He tried to rob esports of monies ;/

He will probably be banned from future events Dox decides to run should they include non SEA peoples. Don't mess with the admins yo.
Anyway, it was fun playing Major. I expected to be playing a diamond so I decided to fuck around both games, but as soon as I saw the way his first hellion was controlled I knew it was no diamond. IT WAS MAJOR! Having glade obsing my game and seeing his crisp refined style and 200+ apm basically confirmed it too. I kinda stopped trying to really play because I knew how ridiculous it was and how the game wasn't going to count.
And haha, "Sidney". No further evidence required. Personally I find the whole episode rather hilarious and I did not expect any real punishment towards Major, but there you go.
Otherwise it was a really fun event. Nearly beating Glade in a tourney is something I do not get to do very often. Must try harder next time.
Addressing those who dislike Dox for whatever reason. In short, go fuck yourselves. Extended version, the guy puts in a lot of time and effort and his own money organising a lot within the Australian and SEA competitive scene and not just this tournament. The original Tournament page may have been a bit misleading in it's wording but after you bring that issue up with the admin you have no real cause for complaint. I mean, shit, Fenix and ST_KingKong understood what SEA citizen means after they had it explained to them. Why should it be any different for Major?
So, yes. Any disrespect towards Dox has no reasonable basis. Either learn how to read threads properly or stop being a troll (a futile request, I know, but one troll at a time right?)

Im not going to defend someone who doesnt follow the rules but in this case its kind of understandable. I think both sides made errors and I dont think MajOr will do this again. Next time the admins should be clear about the rules - and by that I mean you should write the right rules in every official spot. Talking to 1 person to say one way about the rules and stating the other way in an official thread makes people angry/ feel betrayed etc. Anyways I dont like how the Pros/representatives/admins of the scence etc talk in this thread. 1) Dont make such a thread. This is just childish BM. 2) Dont be offensive/aggressive if you are a player/caster/admin. You still are a representative of SC2 and slow dont the grow of esports if you behave like this. Show some proffessionalism. 3) Dont talk about stuff that shouldnt be talked about (e.g Endrey stating he wanted MajOr to participate in a SHowmatch/stuff. You knew the risks and its still his choice to play or not to play) 4) Show professionalism! Dont be a drama Queen 5) see 4) I feel sad for SC2 right now cause there are still people who cant take the responsibility or cant handle being in the spotlight. You guys are truly hurting Esports. If you dont like somebody just keep if with yourself. If you are upset by a player: talk to his team. Make clear that they have to punish him. Only post if the team acts dickish. No need for these threads
One of the best post in this thread. Clearly there is some person who dont like major and try to encourage the hate grown in TL forum. Kind of childish by many admins/pros.
