Page 26 and onwards I will issue at least two day bans to anyone who clearly has not read the original topic post and the explanations contained therein. He was barred access to the event days before the actual event took place and used some random diamond player his account to try and get in anyway.
Leave the racial bias at the door while you are at it as well pretty please. |

He's being serious - at the lower levels, the smaller player count means there are also less terrible players. This makes the low divisions harder than NA. 'Course. it works the other way around at the top - there's less good players, so it's easier compared to NA. SEA players can compete, but for every top level SEA player, there's 100 NA players of the same caliber.
That doesn't make it a joke, however, just a server starved for competitive players. People put in effort, and try to compete and improve, and in this case, Major comes in the fuck it up.

Plat and Lower imo SEA is harder than NA but M and GM on NA is harder than on SEA. imo

man i was just becoming a major fan, well i'll still be a fan of his play but not his personality
also its funny how tt1 manages to bring idra into everything just to shit on him even though the thread has nothing to do with him

Notice how the SEA players play on NA? Because SEA's ladder isn't very good.

You were one of those guys that grew up with the gift of finding all the facts easily, am I right? If SEA people are tearing up NA GM ladder, it means they are boss mode. Thanks.

What I read out of these chats is that Maj0r did think u were allowed to play if you have a SEA account so he bought one. Afterwards he was told he just burned 50 bucks for nothing. I dont think any1 wouldnt have taken the oppourtunity to play as a smurf. He feeled like he wasnt able to play cause the admins didnt like him (since he states that other ppl were allowed). So he wanted to get some of his money back and since there was no clear official message about in the official thread that only citizens are able to participate it was "ok" for him.
Im not going to defend someone who doesnt follow the rules but in this case its kind of understandable. I think both sides made errors and I dont think MajOr will do this again.
Next time the admins should be clear about the rules - and by that I mean you should write the right rules in every official spot. Talking to 1 person to say one way about the rules and stating the other way in an official thread makes people angry/ feel betrayed etc.
Anyways I dont like how the Pros/representatives/admins of the scence etc talk in this thread. 1) Dont make such a thread. This is just childish BM. 2) Dont be offensive/aggressive if you are a player/caster/admin. You still are a representative of SC2 and slow dont the grow of esports if you behave like this. Show some proffessionalism. 3) Dont talk about stuff that shouldnt be talked about (e.g Endrey stating he wanted MajOr to participate in a SHowmatch/stuff. You knew the risks and its still his choice to play or not to play) 4) Show professionalism! Dont be a drama Queen 5) see 4)
I feel sad for SC2 right now cause there are still people who cant take the responsibility or cant handle being in the spotlight. You guys are truly hurting Esports. If you dont like somebody just keep if with yourself. If you are upset by a player: talk to his team. Make clear that they have to punish him. Only post if the team acts dickish. No need for these threads

So is NA.... Since NA players arent good, if SEA members are beating them.... right ?

LOL stop before you hurt yourself.
The reason why alot of SEA players play NA..Bigger pool of players, you don't have to wait for ever to get into a game.
Some days, it can take up to 10 minutes or longer to find a game on SEA

Define "tearing up." Unless the majority of GM on NA are SEA players, I don't see what you're getting at. There are great players from SEA, no doubt, but their ladder is considered among the worst.

Just thought you should know who you're calling a joke. Notice how the SEA players play on NA? Because SEA's ladder isn't very good. The SEA players holding positions on NA are also at the top of the SEA ladder. The issue is more a simple lack of players - the top of SEA is rather small because the entire server is small, so the top-tier play on NA/KR a fair amount.
This is why SEA has tournaments with region restriction - so that the rest of the players can actually get to compete and try to win prizes. There simply aren't enough high-end SEA players to let SEA compete on NA's turf.
This is all irrelevant to the main discussion, though. Don't suppose we can take the server butthurt elsewhere?

Actually they're playing on NA because it's the only way we can break the stigma you're clinging to.
Search times for the top tier of SEA is truly awful.

@TT1 troll harder dude! all the fanboy rage is just spewing forth from their pre-pubescent loins! Did someone just say PES?

the key word is lower levels. The lower levels in SEA are pretty damn hard, considering we got less noobs to stomp. And how dare you just dismiss an entire region like that. Lots of people here are doing everything they can to bring the SEA region up to a good E-Sports standard. Just as Dox said, he wants to see people here get better and represent the region on an international scale. We may not be the best region, but the people working on this region are probably the hardest-working out there.

If that's really what Dox wants, then he shouldn't be making it an exclusively SEA tournament. How do you expect to show the world you're as good as them if you refuse to play them? This is the CatZ argument adapted for this tournament.
