Yeah I think I have a good method for potty time. I take her out side and use a command every hour or so. seems to be working. Very few accidents so far! Now only if I could get rid of that bark!! haha

I personally trained my new puppy how to dodge cars because my first dog got hit by a car and it was very tragic. To prevent this from happening again we had to train our new puppy to avoid cars through a 3 phase process. I started first by throwing wrenches at him at first it caught him off guard and he even got knocked out a few times but he was ok afterwards. In 2 days he became a wrench dodging pro. So I moved up to the next level of training, running him down with a four wheeler. He learned quickly to get out of the way of a quad, its painful and scary. He may of broken a leg or two and his tail got crushed but he survived. For the final phase every time he ran up to our car as I was pulling into the drive way I would step on the gas, he learned and to this day hes still alive. 7 Months old however he may be a bit brain damaged from his rigorous training because he walks and runs a little lop sided or maybe its because of his previous injuries of broken legs. I don't know I'm not a veterinarian. I think next I'll train him how to play fetch

If I were you, I'd teach your little pup the command "Leave it." It's by far my most favorite and under-used command. It's different than the traditional "No" because it's not really a case of the dog being in trouble, but instead a pre-emptive "hey, stop doing what you're doing currently because you're gonna get in trouble." Use it when she's getting into something, about to go after something she shouldn't, or too bothered to listen to you because she's pre-occupied following a scent or something. After that you can just push her away and re-direct her attention from whatever it is, perhaps punishing her in some form, and eventually she'll understand that when you say it, she needs to give up on whatever little quest she's on. It's not so much about teaching her all the things not to do (As 'No' and 'Bad' traditionally do), it's about teaching her that when you say "Leave it" she needs to drop whatever she's doing and do something else. Just my 2 cents, best of luck with your puppy. =)

Running everywhere at least they dont need muchw alking lol Anyway what you want to do is make sure she has a confined space and not let her roam to begin with, paper down covering small areas with traiing pads, when she pees on the pads congrautlate here and in a week or two take away the paper slowly only congratulating her if she pees or poos on the pad, soon she should only be going on pads and then ina few weeks you can try taking pads away and taking her outside im presuming she cant go outside yet? I know in uk you need two injections first so not sure if its same there? EDIT: One thin with our first puppy was to notice if she was sniffing, if she does its normally a sign she will need to go to toilet. Anyway to get her to start learning u need patience and treats(soft ones for puppies) and it wont take her long to start listening. Just mak esure you congratulate her on anything she does correct and make sure you tell her off for doing things wrong but DO NOT do it so shes gets scared of you. Oh and good luck!!!
