What a cutie.
If you want to potty train your dog, first put newspaper everywhere, because the dog will literally go everywhere. They're instinct is to go out of the way (because in their mind its cleaner) so they'll try and go in places like under tables or stairs. Take her outside fairly regularly and if she does go to the toilet praise her heavily. Also if she does go in the house take her outside right away so she starts to associate going outside to going to the toilet.
After potty training you can teach her to sit, and then lie down. They're good tricks because, if she's ever in danger of running into trouble you can make their stop by sitting. To teach the dog to sit you want to use treats. If the dog is standing up facing you, you want to put the treat near their nose and move it over their head. She should follow it, and eventually she'll reach a stage in the movement where she sits down. Then you praise her and give her a treat. When she gets good, you wean her slowly off the treats, until your praise becomes enough.
To get her to lie down, from a sitting position you put the treat on her nose and move it down to between her front paws. You teach it in the same way as sit, except don't praise her when she sits or she'll think the movement is over, only when she has lay down.
Good luck!
edit: I read back through the thread and the training pads idea is good too. We tried the pads and they didn't seem any better than newspaper, but if you start off with the newspapers in the place she likes to go and get her to go on the newspaper and then slowly move the paper towards the door. If she has a specific place she tries to go, and you don't have any carpets (if you have any that you can move. Move them out of the way!), its probably better than putting newspaper everywhere.

Really cute :3
I'd use a spray bottle to teach them to go away or stay out of certain places or rooms.

I personally trained my new puppy how to dodge cars because my first dog got hit by a car and it was very tragic. To prevent this from happening again we had to train our new puppy to avoid cars through a 3 phase process.
I started first by throwing wrenches at him at first it caught him off guard and he even got knocked out a few times but he was ok afterwards. In 2 days he became a wrench dodging pro.
So I moved up to the next level of training, running him down with a four wheeler. He learned quickly to get out of the way of a quad, its painful and scary. He may of broken a leg or two and his tail got crushed but he survived.
For the final phase every time he ran up to our car as I was pulling into the drive way I would step on the gas, he learned and to this day hes still alive.
7 Months old however he may be a bit brain damaged from his rigorous training because he walks and runs a little lop sided or maybe its because of his previous injuries of broken legs. I don't know I'm not a veterinarian.
I think next I'll train him how to play fetch
What the hell is wrong with you.
Taking care of a pet is a lot of responsibility. Make sure you're not one of those people that suddenly get bored and stop caring about the pet, because they'll know and respond in kind.

I was gonna say that puppy looked like mine when he was young, then I realized the old post of this duplicitous nature, but figured I'd brag about how cute my dog used to be (he isn't cute anymore and dog-dreaming on my pants right now)

It's real, because that is, in fact, my wizard hat he is in.

I am impressed by the fact that someone bumped a 2 year old thread just to call the OP out for fake

Sorry if this doesn't warrant a bump but this is a blog and.. its funny. LOL busted 2 years later. Well he's permed anyway so it's not like it really matters. That's pretty funny though :D
