The TLS team is obviously aware of these tools, so it was a deliberate decision not to use them.
Also lol Pucca.

I can't be the only one who thinks that all the information available with stuff like this actually takes away from the excitement of watching a game. You know, instead of going ''Holy shit, is he gonna get dark swarm finished before that army arrives?'' you just calmly look at the production tab and go ''The upgrade will finish in 10 seconds, well in time for him to hold this attack off''. I mean, it's useful when watching reps for learning purposes, but for sheer entertainment, I don't like it. One of the things I don't like about SC2.

This sums up what I was going to say nicely. The suspense is very important.

please spend less time posting here and more time practicing last hitting.

Yeah can we please not use this? I've given up the fight against the production tab in sc2 but certainly dont want it spreading over here. >_>

Pucca be honest here, did you really expect us to believe this was "your friend"?

A thousand times THIS.

I think it's quite obvious he is not the brightest crayon in the box, so the correct answer here is sadly probably "yes" ;;

Agreed...if you're watching reps to improve or if you're going day9 mode to analyze stuff it's useful as hell but BW games are to manly for that shit

Pucca, please stop peddling your shitty broadcasting methodologies here. People don't use your crap because you go about things in some of the dumbest ways possible, namely:
1) Running a second copy of BW in a VM to screencap another window that's not even inside the game anyway. What? This is like cutting your arm off to be able to scratch your own back, completely ridiculous.
2) 992x558 resolution... wtf. How much crack do you have to smoke to think this is a sensible resolution to use? BW natively runs in 640x480. A 16x9 720p broadcast is 1280x720. Notice how neither of those resolutions match up to your chosen resolution at all?
3) "All you have to do is start both games at the same time, just click this button here, and then click this other button here that you can't actually see cause of the overlay but trust me its there!" Yeah. Dumb.
4) Using BattleSC, a program made by some shady guys who promptly dipped out of the scene and deleted their site when I accused them of trying to scam people for money. Sounds promising!
Next time you have suggestions for the TLS staff, you should PM them directly instead of grandstanding your bullshit in the BW forums. Then they could reply to you directly, tell you your ideas suck, and you wouldn't have to look like even more of a moron here. None of these programs are black magic, they're all incredibly easy to change. If you actually spent some time learning things instead of trying to Rube Goldberg your way out of everything, maybe you'd have figured that out by now. And maybe people would actually give you some respect. But instead you're here posting as 'Lanzo' because you think we're all dumb enough to believe it. Go fuck yourself.

I would support showing what the OSL? showed- Money, army supply, worker supply etc. But I am adamantly against the Production tab as others have already detailed.
Edit. And I don't want to use a spyglass to view BW. Way too zoomed out to get the viceral experience.
lol. This looks like such a ghetto set up.

I think that's also what TSL went with? Although the supply is a little weird because it doesn't account for units being made.

Honestly, if you accept that the person has problems, you should tone it down a little... People can't help how they were born or raised.

Yo Pucca, this isn't the best way of doing widescreen anymore. You don't need to use the virtual machine at all, you can capture everything off a single widescreen windowed mode. Also, the resolution of 992x558 is just a little bigger than most people like, I found that people don't care/do like it if it's essentially widescreen of 640x480 (so just stretched wider, I use 864x468 when I stream). But if you make it that much bigger and wider then it's enough to make people complain, so I'd suggest scaling it down to 864x468.
tec27, not only do you sound like you don't know what you're talking about, you also are acting like a complete prick, entirely unnecessarily.

lol. This looks like such a ghetto set up. I agree 100% with this. Knowing resource count + supply is fine. Production tab is not. Kind of takes away the excitement/suspense.
