I talked to Crank about this situation, he said people have got it completely wrong.
He never commented on MMA. All the stuff about getting tired out of playing Starcraft II was about himself, not MMA.
Here's his comment:
"I only commented on my situation with the team. I wanted to say that I had lost some of my passion and become stressed out, so I wanted an opportunity to recharge.
The stuff between MMA and SlayerS hasn't been resolved yet, so I would be grateful if people didn't speculate so much or jump to conclusions. In any case, please support MMA.
Also, I will be streaming for the time being, but I would like to request that people refrain from asking questions about SlayerS. Thank you."
Edit: What Crank said on chat was along the lines of "MMA say no want to play sc2" "but team say no". Please read this post knowing that language barriers can cause confusion and this is by no mean 100% correct. However, this is a situation that makes the most sense considering that it involves no sex scandals or physical violence, and seems like a reasonable thing that MMA might do considering his personality
On his stream, Crank gave a pretty rough explanation of why MMA was demoted and what is going on. Basically, MMA has begun to "lose his passion" for the game and doesn't want to play the long practice hours that every team requires. Of course SlayerS, as a respected, established team, couldn't tolerate this because it has rules set on minimum hours of practice each day, so they decided to demote MMA. He also kept saying "MMA good personality" which implies that the demotion was unrelated to anything malicious or physical and supports the "passion" explanation
If they did so to let him clear his head, or as a punishment we don't really know. All we know is that this is probably the most reasonable explanation for the whole situation and doesn't shine either side in too negative a light. Hopefully the stupid speculation will finally end, and we'll see what MMA brings to the table tonight and at Busan.
Sorry for the lack of physical evidence. Hopefully the 300 viewers of his stream can corroborate this and maybe post a screenshot of the chat when he said this.
In regards to Crank changing his twitter: he said many times on his stream "no team" but this could have meant no team house as he was practicing in some secret location. However, someone asked him if he was on slayers and he responded with "no slayers".

WTF?! FINALLY SOME INFO?!
Source?
Well, crank was streaming today and people bothered him so much about it on chat that he gave somewhat of an explanation. Hopefully someone out there saved it with a screenshot

First sentence seems like the "source". I guess he was a viewer and the stream has yet to produce a VOD.

I was on the chat and he kept saying "MMA good personality", which implies we shouldn't think MMA did anything malicious or physical, which lines up pretty well with this explanation

This is where his english really confuses. He kept saying "no team" but we're not sure if that means no team house, because he was playing somewhere else, or if he really meant no team. Once, someone asked him if he's on slayers and he said "no slayers" but take that with a grain of salt
Well, if he doesn't want to train like he's required to, then I guess it's logical for them to demote him.
You can't rely on the skills of someone who doesn't train as expected, particularly if he's your ace, since the captains/star players of any given team must always be on top of everything because they influence the rest of the team a lot.
Good decision, IMO, but when you do this you need to complement it with some sort of effort to get your player back on track, otherwise he'll just get progressively less motivated.
Do you blame the guy? With that kind of multi-tasking/macro ability, you'd assume he'd be able to win long games but yeah at the moment T is anything but that. Just has to go for gimmicky timings.
Crank kept saying "MMA personality good" everytime someone would ask about MMA's situation.
He either meant Crank believes that MMA's mindset was fine when it came to practice (which is why he was upset when MMA was demoted, also rebelling and getting kicked out), or that he meant MMA was fine with his punishment now (personality may be a word for mindset)
