Even if all it means is more lax schedule).
Still not official info though.
i believe slayers b-teamers don't live in the house?

IMO, the reddit thread and this thread are yet again NOT solid evidence T-T...
My friend who watched the stream said that he explicitly said "mma no want to play sc2". I'll try to find it in the VOD but I am 99% sure that this is the right explanation. Besides, does any other scenario make more sense to you?
yeah. dat wallet.
I guess we'll find out more during the GSTL finals. Who was it that said MMA was starting? Was it Coca?

I'd wager his passion is just fine.
I think the passion may have more to do with his willingness to practice.
I remember there was a period during which Stork was playing cell phone games very very late into the night, every night, and his practice wasn't particularly hardcore at all compared to his usual regime. But he still won quite a bit

You of all people should know that just playing/winning matches doesn't equal passion for the game since idra has said numerous times he has no passion for the game and hates it, but plays it cause it's his job. Also, MMA looked like someone killed his dog after beating hero.

Even if he recently stopped practicin as much, it's not like his skill level would have dropped dramatically. And not wanting to play doesn't mean not playing at all, I'm pretty sure it means playing minimally
If this is true, I think things like this are where poor game design decisions (and possibly rash balance patches due to Kim's positive incentive to be proactive) come back to haunt the community in the long run.

It's on the liquipedia page as well: if you click on the "show" tab on the slayers-eg vs fx-open final it shows Gumiho vs MMA

I doubt it, proberly just a motivation slump, it happens to either winners like him or those who almost made it but lost. MMA does not seem the guy to me to quit just right away, i am sure he's got to deal with his mental state and in no time he will find his form again.

Who said anything about quitting? And why make such a big deal out of this? He's human after all. It's hard to stay focused at the same thing month after month, year after year.Specialy at the highest level.I think all he need's is a couple of week's to cool off, then he can come back with full energy and start asskicking again.
Hmm, strange how things seems to have turned upside down so quickly. A month ago he seemed very motivated and straight forward about what he wanted when he was interviewed by Rachel for CSN. "2 years, only game no girls" doesn't sound something someone who lost motivation and just slacks would say.
I wonder if it is because of the patch or if there is something like the team atmosphere not being as great anymore etc that changed it. Hope it turns out good for him soon. :/
what does he think he is, american? this really doesn't bode well for mma in the long run. sure he's really good now and can coast for a while off of what he knows. but sc2 is changing every week and if he doesn't put in the time he's just going to fall off, simple as that
edit: this explanation is also much more simple and believable than any other alternative.. so i accept it
