Who said anything about quitting? And why make such a big deal out of this? He's human after all. It's hard to stay focused at the same thing month after month, year after year.Specialy at the highest level.I think all he need's is a couple of week's to cool off, then he can come back with full energy and start asskicking again.
This is why I don't think it should be a big deal that he was moved to the B Team. It will give him time to think about his play and his future, and hopefully let him rest up a bit and find his passion again. I guess some people associate being moved to the B Team as a humiliation (it shouldn't be if there is a proper reason, but this is understandable) and that's why MMA was against this.
Also, it's really annoying how some people can turn any thread into balance whine. "omg MMA must be giving up bec of the queen patch buff terran plx". Seriously.

I don't know anything interesting, Crank's English sucks like I mentioned. He's learning but it's still just simple words.
MVP losing his passion, MKP saying he'll quit if he fails in the next code S (obviously meant as a joke) and MMA who "no want to play sc2" anymore .... so much in 24 hours D:

And they all seem to be terran...What a weird coincidence.
Hmm..... Correlation isn't causation they say... Hmm...
Honestly, I don't see why Slayers didn't just tell us this (if it's true) This is not neary as bad as I thought it would be, but it's sill sad if MMA is losing his passion :/

He's human, I am human. I quit because of the balance indecency after 14 years of starcraft. It's plausible that he did too?

I'm not saying it's not plausible. Balance whine is annoying.
Terran has the darkest time since release, probably going to be even worse when HOTS is live. Also considering KeSPA player s are almost fully focused on SC2 now, the current competition is in such a high level... It's totally understandable that a former great player could feel confusion/depression. Especially for terran players. Now it's already hard enough for one to be outstanding among all the good terrans, it's kind of impossible to be dominating among all the good sc2 players. He must be so frustrated while practicing, the more time you practice, the more times you lose ...

Balance changes from month to month, so what your saying is he can only be motivated when terran is on high winrates, and if not he's thinking of retirement after less then a month.
If that was even remotely true (witch i know for a fact will not be) he should retire right away. And you lasted 14 years with that mindset ? I doubt that.
Balance has utterly nothing to do with MMA and motivation.

A well established progamer in an awesome team, losing his passion is not a good sign for the community and the game.
I actually would prefer a sex scandal or fight...
Yeah, because losing passion is a permanent blight on your reputation, future and police records.
Surprised people think the game or team (EDIT: or even balance hahaha) are the causes of this sort of thing. I mean with MVP he sort of blames his injury as the reason of lost interest, which is fair enough, but at the end of the day it's totally a psychological thing. Why do sports psychologists exist if this wasn't such an enormous problem amongst players already?
This is not to say he has issues, but he's surely not the first great player of a sport to struggle finding enjoyment in what he does.
If the majority of players say the exact same thing then it's an issue. A player good at what he does not enjoying it? Actually surprisingly common.
If this is true anyway. A lot of the Crank stuff is at the very least making connections between words from poor translation.
At this point I'll appreciate any sort of information, because the demotion kept floating around without much to go on. I can see MMA losing passion or interest in the game, but I wonder what might be taking away his attention?
