Team LighT will be hosting an in-house tournament tomorrow, Sunday May 6th at 8:00pm PST (11:00pm EST). Five players will be playing in a round robin format (BO3 for each match)... the two best finishers will be receiving invite spots in the GIGABYTE SoCal eSports LAN which will be held the weekend after MLG Anaheim!
We think people will really enjoy these games and will be sharing them with the community after the matches are finished. We might stream/cast the games on our Twitch.tv channel if we can find a caster.
So without further adieu, here are the players you'll get to see:
We'll be updating this post with results as the games are played! Please stay tuned for the action. If there is a stream we will include the link as well!

So basically, it's a tournament amongst the players of LighT and one will go to a SoCal tournament? Doesn't feel like there's really much on the line :x The venue is so close to Anaheim that I wouldn't be surprised if the whole team went anyways.

it's an in house tournament, the top 2 get to play in the gigabyte LAN, there isn't supposed to be much more on the line than that.

The venue is close as hell to Anaheim (it was intentionally done to be right after Anaheim to draw in people), it's not 11,000 on the line or the tournament: It's a chance of a chance to play for 11,000.
And as I said before, wouldn't be surprised if the whole team just shacked up in a hotel for another week for the tournament and went regardless of the results.
Anyways, that's my 2 cents. Nothing entirely wrong, just not the first thing I'd watch. Fun idea though.

an in house tournament doesn't seem very thread worthy. i'm sure plenty of other teams do these for tournaments. but maybe we'll see a new trend i guess...

It's an invite only tournament.. you can't just 'go' to it, that's why this matters. Teams are given 2 spots each.
