Dear Team Liquid,
Apparently it is very well possible to get the starcraft master achievements and icons. I'll show a screenshot as proof, this is the EU server. (CLICK THE SPOILER! It's to prevent unnecessary bandwidth)

Naturally he's too good of a person to even tell us how to do it. But the fact is, that it's possible. So does anyone have any insight on achieving said achievements? I love the portrait myself.
Regards,
Kaluro

He also achieved all of the achievements at 02.27.12, which is today.

Could be hacking? There have been people who got impossible achievements in the past..

Achievments are the dumbest thing ever added into video-games. Although I guess it says something about the human psyche that people would be interested in something as banal as imaginary points that have no indicator of skill or talent.
OP for creating this thread you get 50 Trip-Points! Anyone who quotes me will get 5 Trip-points each! Get to work guys!

I am interested in the portrait, not the achievement points. Your portrait is something you carry around in-game everywhere, it might as well suit your preferences. It was love on first sight. <3

Doesn't make it legit. Would he tell you how to get it? If not, then he is prolly abusing something. Just saying

wow, you dont understand anything about the mammal psyche, to get small reinforcments is an excellent way to keep motivation. if you ever have a child or become a teacher it is integral knowledge

Well on the blizzard forums someone have found the map (with only 15 challenges though, But i cant find it. Maybe blizzard removed the thread. Anyways its in the map editor and you have to open a file called "master" something, something in the campaign map. Then you have to turn on some stuff that i dont remember.
Hope that helped. But again i cant find the thread :D

Why not just check that guys match history? I'm sure the map is in there.... unless he's a cheater. BURN HIM!!!!
But seriously, why has it taken this long for me or someone else to just suggest checking his map history?
Edit: NM, Fede is another itelligent indiviual like myself, probably besting me by a slight margine since he had already posted the answer! =]

Well, he's not the smallest name in the sc2 community so I really doubt he would do such a thing. There's always the possibility but also the unlikeliness.

Nothing in his match history. Other than ladder games and regular map custom games.

Maybe not in sc2 but in some videogames yes. Also even if they don't indicate skill in sc2 who cares? They are just a time killer and this game is totally lacking ways to kill time atm.

You can open and play the map in the galaxy editor.

But u cant get the achievement then.
The question is how to get them; not how to play the map.

I like achievements because it gives people a different way to play the game. I have friends not very into the 1v1 laddering, and instead work towards getting a lot of the achievements that way. I like it because if you don't want to get them, theyre still optional. But it's still interesting to see who ACTUALLY played the game for the story, especially among progamers.
But I wonder if he did some private testing for Blizzard? I mean it's not likely that they particularly asked this guy unless he works for blizz, but besides hacking, I cant really think of a way to get it.

He says he found it on google and took him a lot of time to figure out. Maybe he's lying maybe he's not. He's a renowned community member so I'm inclined to believe him.
