EDIT: Note that his match history does not show any odd maps, only Antiga & Korhal by the time the achievement was received. If the mod is a solo player challenge, vs ia or a part of the campaing itself (like lost viking), it won't appear in the history. If the mod was a solo player challenge, why would the achievement be listed in "custom game" section not in "exploration" section like every other challenge?

that guy, stxprogamer is a maphacker.
|
STXProgamer seems generally shady. I wouldn't trust anything he says or does.
|
so, here it is: i played stxprogamer twice on ladder today and after i beat him in the first time a random guy whispered me and told me i should check the replay cause he thinks that the stxprogamer guy is maphacking. i checked it and it was pretty strange play by him. so, i met him again in ladder and again he played without ANY scouting etc and moved to 5 burrowed infestors with his hole army to fungle them perfectly :D he s a maphacking son of a bitch, he plays realy bad with his 100 apm swag and i reported him for maphacking like a lot of other guys did.
i can upload the replays if you want to.

talking thrash about somebody else generally entices a replay to back your claim

I know, but doing it is normally standard when you slanter a player, even if you are right

This seems shady as fuck.

Yeah, I entered the thread thinking "Hell yeah, finally I can play these maps!". I'm disappointed that it turned out to be all hacks
|
So this went from:
X has achievement!
to
X can't have achievement because it's not out yet and therefore X hacks!
to
X also hacks in a bunch of other ways!
lol

Im expecting some new info about the achievements/portrait somewhat soon though, I mean they added them officially to the game. Though the strange part is, Anyone remember the last time they added stuff? It was within a day or so that those things became found in the achievement list the maps were out etc... They also hyped those maps before its release though.
I wonder what blizzard is doing with this map? and why they havent promoted this map or atleast mentioned it to the community, yet they keep adding stuff to battle.net related to it.

Enjoy Disneyland !!! LMAO.
Anywho, I saw these achievements the other day (NA) and found threads about people playing on some map through the map editor tester, but haven't done that. Is the map available now through the game ?

no its not, which is the whole reason for the mystery discussion of this thread, of how people are getting the portrait and other stuff with it.

Well are there more than just this single person with the portrait? He very well may have used hacks to obtain it, or help him beat/load the game.

I just found the way in which you can probably bug the game using Map Editor, so that you will get the portrait and achievements. I didn't try it as I don't want to get my acc banned and I will send an e-mail to blizz if I get enough data to back up my theory. But for now, I'm pretty sure that it is possible to abuse the editor in order to get this achievement.

While I agree with your sentiments, a lot of people put a lot of emotional stake in the ability to complete portions of video games that, for some reason, anyone with time/effort can beat. It doesn't make sense to me, but if other people want to spend their time unlocking virtual items to show how valuable they are to society, who's to judge them? We do the same thing with job titles and education and such.
