EPTBut more specifically, inside jokes that have been created in groups of people with little to no real life connections, an internet forum for example. "u gotta sk8" is one of stranger "oldschool" jokes that is thrown around this forum, in similar ways that my friends in different areas share different jokes that other people just stare blankly at you for saying.
Starcraft as a whole has generated a massive number of these inside jokes, and many of them have fallen into the lowest form of this humor which is the meme. (Meme's are great, don't get me wrong, but having a real story and something to look back on is what makes the best inside jokes the best.) A subset inside the massive bank of humor the people that play a lot of starcraft in general know, there are branches that can get very specific. Certain players have said some rather quotable things that we throw around almost like really great movie quotes being tossed around with friends.
White Ra alone has a pretty good chunk of sayings/things he's done/general personality that people say, my buddies use as we would our very own inside jokes. I dunno, I just think it's a pretty cool area of humor in general and everybody has has some kind of weird jokes that only their group of friends share.
And Endymion made me do it.
