AP increased your AD damage, or something like that. Now Heimers with 500 AP can just autoattack turrets to death dealing +200 dmg per hit, screw nades.

I have trouble focusing a singed who runs around like mad while staying out of range of his flip. It's not like I can rupture him consistently if he isn't retarded, and my autoattack brings me into range unless I can Vorpal him by attacking a creep which doesn't happen too often. If Singed is with some burst char he trolls into my tower, flips me into range of his ally and I inevitably eat a ton of damage.
Not saying that it is impossible to deal with such lanes, but I certainly don't like it.

Well the Cho was useless the whole match. He just laned or something nonstop and tried to jungle while they got our inhib..

can someone actually explain this with numbers? cause i dont get the difference. you said "AP increased your AD damage, or something like that." and then proceed to say how the new mechanic also increases your AD damage to towers.
again i dont know the exact numbers from before. perhaps someone can set the record on it. the point is that AP used to give bonus AD to towers for the purpose of helping casters in the lategame. but it has the unfortunate side effect of making hybrid chars like kayle do obscene amounts of damage to towers. this way, the bonus to towers becomes like kat's ult.

okay i have to say something here:
These are items that are NOT optimal on kat. IE Malady (lol) Gunblade Rageblade Archangel's Staff (yes, it has happened) Black Cleaver Banshee's (since you're diving INTO ALL OF THE ENEMIES AOE, a 1 spell negation isn't going to do much) Thornmail Snowball items (because, once again, you're diving into the middle of all the enemies' aoe) and the list goes on...
As far as I know (and I don't know much) for future reference kat players, this is what you need to do.
a) get mid or a solo. Preferably mid. The faster you hit 6 before everybody else, the more kills you get before you become useless. You can let your ranged DPS have mid after you get first blood on mid. b) go heal, because you probably had to dive the tower to shunpo. c) look for weak people in lanes. Kill them. Do not go looking for the jungler as chances are they have a stun (read: warwick, xinzhao, udyr). d) repeat c as necessary. Push towers when a lane is cleared. e) You should now be level 16 and have 300+ AP. Get your team to push and win the game.
If you are doing AD: QEQWQRQWQQWRWWEEREE If you are doing AP (much stronger since recharging Bloodthirsters are a pain in the ass) QEEWEREWEWRWWWE or whatever like that.
Basically, make sure to make out your W before q/e, because it makes your R stupid strong. Plus 24 damage per dagger? That's like 70 AP. But Shunpo and Bouncing Blades will be your finisher.
Runes: I don't really care. Mag Pen I guess would be good.
Masteries: I don't really care. 21/0/9 is good for me.
Summoner Spells: Ghost/Exhaust. Ignite is very iffy for me because I'd rather just get another shunpo on them. Flash is bad because you already have a free blink.
How to Lane. You should be in mid by now. Last hit with autoattack and bouncing blades. When you get shunpo you can harass with blade and shunpo to avoid retaliation. Or use shunpo to get last hits. When you hit 5 you can start shunpoing the person with W-->Shunpo and get a decent bit of burst on them. If they are low don't be afraid to go for the shunpo kill. When you hit 6 shunpo them and get them to waste a stun/flash if they have one. Don't spin on your first shunpo unless they have no stun/flash. If they do, or this is the second shunpo, spin and exhaust. If they get away from you pop ghost and shunpo. Easy. If they stay out of range from your shunpo, then last hit and zone them for lane ownage.
Items you need: Sorc Boots-Always. Rylai's-Always. I start with the book + 1 pot. Zhonya's-Always, the Active lets you fake people out with a shunpo in team fights. Abyssal Scepter-Usually Randuins-If there is a lot of dps. Cuz slow is awesome. Sentry Wards-Here's how they work. If you are running from or to someone, put a ward on a cliff and shunpo to it. It's amazing. Always have at least one on you at all times unelss you are maxed out. Void Staff-is nice when they have lots of Magic Res. Haunting Guise is meh for me.
How to play team fights: W-Q to poke and deny healing. When your team is moving in, Shunpo and Zhonya's unless they are running away or stunned, in which case you can lotus immediately and quadra kill.
How to lane in a side lane: Don't do this.

pick some random hero, turn everyone in the game off, and go do your own thing. I like it.

if you want to beat every combo as cho 1v2 run 0-9-21 masteries with strength of spirit and max feral scream first. anyone that tries to approach you eats a nuke and gets silenced. then I max rupture, leaving his passive at lvl 1 ( i get it at lvl 1)

But w/e, pure AP heroes like heimer won't feel any difference in how hard they hit towers. Anyone who opens GRB will no longer be able to instantly kill a tower EZPZ. Honestly, seeing that eased the pain of Pantheon's lack of buff quite a bit.

So I've been playing some AP Sion, he's pretty fun and really strong during laning. So far I've been going something like RoA, merc treads (mostly), SS, Zhonya's, whatever (not necessarily in that order). Seems pretty straightforward. Feel like he would rly benefit from CDR, but besides blue elixir/golem I never get any. Don't feel like the DFG nuke is that good on him since you always initiate with a stun that will (hopefully) take a chunk out of their hp before u can use it?
Any tips, different item builds?

Ugh low lvl EU.
We had a fiddle that just fed 18 deaths. Thought he could just life drain everyone and win. I was getting zoned cause of that and didnt have decent items till late game when i could finally kill ppl. They did an awesome job of running away at low health everytime.
Somehow it took them 52m to win. We had a decent anivia which backdoored lolol but it wasnt enough.
Also Galio is a fucking joke. That ult is rediculous!
