Terran players. They manage to not build marines and let our team die to air. They manage to not use scans and let our team die to cloaked units. They manage to lift off and go for the gold and then die to zealots...

At least they are doing something. Rushing in 2v2 is very deadly if you have "some" map control (xelnaga) and when they are on separate bases. You can easily overpower someone in a 2v1 early game until ally arrives/if the defender is reckless/his ally refuse to help/any of them go for fast expo or tech.


Very true, but we're not talking about a 2 player push/rush here but usually a proxy reapers into cloaked banshee type thing or 6 pool(rarely works in 2v2 when 1 person is doing it). Very rarely works in higher league 2v2, esp vs AT people.

I once had a partner who told me he was gonna proxy 2 gate. I told him it was np. It was one of those maps where both players share one choke to their main. I didn't pay attention to my minimap for a few mins then I noticed that he had proceeded to place his pylon and gates ON the choke (like where Terran usually places their depot+rax walls). After the opponents ganged up on his gates and I was too far away to help:

Partner: Sorry they found me
Me: Yeah, I wonder why -_-


During the beta in platinum 2v2 (not that it matters apparently) I got a protoss partner on Twilight Fortress (for those who don't remember or don't know: 2 mains and 2 nats in one large main for both players). He started teching to carriers with only 1 gate and a bunch of cannons and 1 base. For the full game I was urging him to either expand or build units instead of canons.

Partner: If I expand without making enough canons, I won't have enough defense.

Later in the game after the opponents took half the map with me unable to do anything, they managed to max out and killed me before my partner.

Partner: See? Not enough defense.

I was playing a random 4v4 for fun, so I have 2 toss and a terran as teammates (I'm playing Protoss) and they urge me to wall off with them at these 2 chokes in the middle of the map. I told them that it wasn't my style but they kept pestering me so I did. Once the the chokes were walled off they started to pinpoint location on the map of where I should put up cannons and I just laughed that off and proceeded to do my thing. Later I see my mates with about ~5 real units each with cannons everywhere while I spent my money on something useful like an army. So the opponents attack with zealots, marines, zerglings and some Dark Templars sneaking in. So my two toss mates have no observers out or a robotics bay for that matter and the Terran player REFUSES to scan and just makes uses it on MULES and SUPPLY DROPS so they eventually die but their cannons did pick up those templar but by then it was just overrun by the other units. I finally get overrun by 4 players and my mates blame me for not making cannons.

Actually race doesn't matter that much. In team matches, whenever I read "rush?" I say either 'No.' or 'noob...' or something to that extent. Usually it turns out they don't know anything else but rush builds... and even then they don't know how to handle them properly. I'm also very familiar with the 'being the only one who scouts' thing. Though at times I will command others to scout. ;D Not that their scouting workers survived very long...

So we're ZZ against ZT. He said lets rush, I said I'll 8pool, and also help put some spines in their base.

We get there, the enemy is decent. They are defending with queen/lings/drones. Meanwhile I put a spine in his base. I lose all my lings but the spine is like half way done. Partner kills enemy lings and queen, and has 4 lings left. And he starts attacking my spine which was 75% done!! And he kills it before I can type "wtf are you doing!"

Terran comes with 2 marines and a marauder and kills his lings. My partner keeps rallying 2 lings at a time to their base and never builds up an economy. As soon I see banshees come out, I leave the game.

So i was playing a 2v2, my opponents were max'ed, i was maxed, my teammate had 20 probes, every tech structure but not 1 single fighting unit

we are facing double z, my ally scouts early so I figure, great, he knows what he is doing, he scouts a 9 pool from both players, he goes to second player, double gas steals, pings the gas steal to make sure i notice how retarded he is then goes for cannon rush. I killed his nexus and left.

During a 4v4 we managed to get quite a lead after the first push. I noticed that one of my teammates had double-expanded, thus depriving me of my expansion. I told him to cancel (he was Z) the hatchery or I would take it down personally. He didn't say a word, so I killed that hatchery. He went on to kill my main, after which I erased every building and army unit he had. Meanwhile our opponents probably wondered what caused the "x has not rebuilt their base and is being revealed - x has rebuilt their base.." messages when they were not even attacking. Anyway, after that guy was taken care of, we went on to kill more of our opponents, when another teammate of mine started attacking my bases as well. He had previously commented on the first guy's actions with "Next time don't double-expand, idiot <name>" so I thought the case was closed. Nope, he didn't stop and even started targeting my units as well. As he was unwilling to stop that, I rallied all my units in his base and killed everything in it. I don't quite remember what caused it, but the last remaining opponent quit the game shortly after - since even with the stupid quarrels, we were still too far ahead. The most retarded game I ever played. The one who didn't cancel his hatchery said "Next time I see you I will kill your main directly". As luck would have it, we met again a couple of days later, on different teams though. When we marched into their bases (High Ground), I greeted him kindly. Lesson learned: Don't get too greedy, depriving your teammates of income.

If Terran players refuse to give me control when I need it to lower/raise the depots, I just kill those depots, too. After countless times of pinging and talking and shouting, this has proven to be the quickest route to free travel for my units.

Scouted and saw standard 4 gate and bio build....

I counter with my 4 gate (knowing I could easily out play the other toss)....and my partner goes fast thor (seriously...wtf?).

...They attack and my partner has......1 Thor. wow.
