I make around 5 reapers and poke in TTT vs PZZ to enforce stalkers,spines and roaches. During that I tell my teamnates to build marauders x marines. After loosing 5 reapers and destroying one queen I have around nine Marauders. And I see two blobs of mass marines from my partners. We were playing AT,sitting together on TS3.
PS.I know it was an AT,but the funny part is when my friends behave like randoms

I have two great stories. Of course Im not the greatest player...actually Im in gold division in 1v1 cuz I just cant keep my self interested enough to keep doin the same strat which is to stop the opponents all-ins. I want some diversity so I go and play a couple 2v2 3v3 matches.

Ok now for the stories. First one (PPvTT), Im a zerg player and I decided to play off race and b protoss. I had a protoss ally and right in the beginning I told him I was massing phoenix and told him to mass zealots with charge or go immortals or collosi cuz I would have the air control. He told me I was stupid that phoenix suck but I knew this plan would work. K, now I have 15 phoenix and look at my ally's base and he has 5 stalkers....and he calls me stupid.haha. I told him to make zealots to conquer the ground force and he kept complaining that he would lose to tanks...which of course I had so much phoenix's that I could just pick all the tanks up. So I went and killed all the scvs at one t base to get an advantage and when I came back my teammate started moving out with 7 stalkers...I did tell him to stop and he kept sayn we already lost. Of course he walked straight up to the t front door and lost all his 7 stalkers to tanks. He then sends a msg to everyone that I was stupid and went mass phoenix then he quits. I stopped makn phoenix and went for charge-lots and won.haha.

Second story, (ZZvTP) ok so I told my teammate I was massing lings and b-lings. He said ok so I figured he would mass mutas or hydras...I mean its just common sense to get what ur teammate cant. I didnt care whether he went mass hydra or mass muta as long as he could take care of any air play. I get 200/200 zerglings and start sending my teammate money cuz I was just stock piling. I never went to look at his base then asked if he was ready to attack and when he pulled his forces from his base it was mass roach. I just shook my head and prayed that the enemy went for ground only. We happen to meet the opponents in the center and they massed bc's, voidrays, carriers, banshees, with 3 thors as the only ground army. That was the biggest face palm of my life.haha.

This morning after the tragic loss of JD in the MSL =(, I decided to steam out in random 3s to redeem the glory of the brood.

/sigh.. fml... 1st game and ally leaves 1 minute into the game... don't queue if you cant stay?
To make matters worse - since I have to dedicate extra attention to control the now absent teal, I forgot to scout and my other ally is in the process of being cannon rushed...

So I gambled on an early speedling harass + 4 gate all in...

2 marines and 2 marauders without a wall.. he is not going to like this very much...

Ended up killing most of his SCVs and caused him to lift... one down...

My ally is about to lose his nexus.. /sigh...

At least this ally rebuilds his nexus at the right place -.-. I would like it better if he has taken our gold/my natural... =/

Next attack is on the cannon cheeser. His array of cannons at the entrance shot down a handful of lings but I still did some terrible damage to his econ... His ally decided to go help him so I seized this opportunity and did this:

His nexus goes down and he loses a great deal of probes. His army finally returned home and took care of my hardworking lings =(

The three attacks is strong enough to give my team a strong econ advantage, and so we transitioned into midgame...

My remaining ally (red) decided to do what EVERY SINGLE protoss I have teamed with does best: make a handful of void rays -.-. But of course... they werent even able to take down a single pylon and was chased away after losing 1/2 of his fleet...

Having repelled red's void ray assault and seeing my mutas at the corner of the map finishing yellow at the island expo, he decided it is a very good time to attack my base.... oh... how mistaken he is....

LOL! i finally revealed I have been playing both bases.

Having no map control and cannot even make an expo - purple decides to unleash the ultimate probe attack!!

But it was aimmed at his ally (orange). Orange's zealots panicked and have no clue what to do!!

Purple makes his last stand with what he does best: Makes lots and lots of cannons.

I ended up with a higher score than orange. Having to instantly readjust my hotkeys on the fly and playing two races at the same time is rather taxing on me and I made a lot of mistakes which I normally wouldn't have made (ie: supply cap/not getting upgrades on time), but I am still proud of myself! =D

I always lose whenever a random person on my team leaves after the game starts n tht causes a chain reaction of my teammates leavin.....

On the bright side, was playing a 3v3 and my allies left just in the start after 1 of them disced. Anyways, with the extra income i made a really fast 3 rax reaper rush into mass marines. My oppentents, figuring my allies left made alot of t1 units like zealots, zergs and marines to end the game quickly. As u might know reapers own t1 units so i ended up killing 2 mains after about 10 mins. The terran in my opponent team floated his main to an island. From there on i pretty much expanded all over the map and made vikings and bcs. I ended up winning the game and taunting the hell out of them after losing 3v1.

I ended up with one in a 4v4 where all 3 of my allies cannon rushed. The only problem: They decided to cannon rush the unoccupied Gold expo >_>

PZ v TT, game goes very late. I've transitioned into mass Carrier, and I've scouted mass thor. I tell my ally to just spam a bunch of lings. He makes about 30 lings, sends them out before they reach our base, loses them all instantly. Then he sends in a dozen hydra, again outside our base. He then wonders why he has no units.

Just found this thread while googling, was looking for other frustrated players in the 2v2 rack an how their handling really really bad random partners you get, and found this. I just got done play 3 random 2v2 team games as zerg.

My first partner was protoss, vs double protoss an he was like "I'm going cannons, an then voids into carriers!" Hearing this I internally face palm, that, that is the worst possible strategy to open up with. An true to his word he cannons up his choke and prepares to do a 1 base void/carrier strategy while I'm faced with two protoss players about to destroy me, that game is quickly over with the first rush from my opponents.

Next one I get is a Terran player vs T,P.
This guy right off the bat wants me to rush, dictating what I do. I just tell him to relax, I know how to play my race and made the right move not to rush because when I was scouting I saw the protoss player was getting 2 gate so I needed to get Roaches into hydra. Apparently he didn't like when I told him to relax, because when both players came to attack, he refused to help, saying "Going to tell me to relax again?!" At this point I lose my cool on this guy. An get bad mannered.

The third was ZZvPT
While this guy wasnt as bad as the other two, he was definitely very new to playing zerg, an wanted to double 6 pool off the bat. This one I also end up losing

So three games in a row I get terrible terrible, partners in random team. I'm in platinum 2v2 random team an I don't think I'm ever going to continue 2v2 random team as the people I random have apparently mental issues and have just opened up the box and want to make the uber unit that dies in 5 seconds. I'm sticking to 1v1

I just experienced something I never thought could/would happen.
It was a 4on4 random Diamond game on Megaton. I was zerg spawned south and I took one of the expo's on the bottom after 5-6 minutes.

When the second hatchery was finished one my protoss allies starts complaining I took his expo, and instead of taking one of the remaining expo's he destroyed my hatchery and crawlers.....

Obviously I left immediately,,

I looked later at his stats and he was diamond 1on1
