After having a discussion with staff about certain polarizing individuals and their impact to the TL LoL community, these are my thoughts. Consider this a formal notice to all.
PrinceXizor, you are a fairly amiable character in our subforum, but your theorycraft has brought upon the chagrin of many. While theorycraft in general is never frowned upon, you do very little to justify your stance. I would like to point out #6 on our TL LoL Ten Commandments, "Thou shall justify opinions properly". You've made numerous statements in the past of varying validity, but your commentary about how armor/level runes are better than flat armor runes is one that stands out in particular. When 100% of pro players across the globe use flat armor runes and you suggest that armor/level is better, realize how ridiculous you sound.
Whether you realize it or not, whether you accept it or not, your opinions have been consistently part of the overwhelming minority. Justify your opinions with firsthand evidence or have someone else test out your theories but there will be no more enthusiastic claims by you. It only leads to the rest of the page (if not multiple pages) in General Discussion of users trying to convince you otherwise.
Roffles, on most days, you are an entertaining character. During in-houses, you're a great host and you give solid advice. Unfortunately, your bedside manner is borderline derogatory. I am a supporter of "tough love", especially when it comes to doling out lessons but you often take it a step beyond that.
Recognize who you're talking to and don't just talk down to everyone. Make sure the target of your banter won't take it as harassment.
XilDarkz (Mathies), as one of the newer members to our TL LoL community, you have gotten on the wrong side of a number of our users, both on the subforum and during in-houses. I won't absolve you of all blame but I do recognize that it is reaching a point where others are bandwagon'ing against you. First and foremost, I ask you to act with a bit more humility. In all honesty, you're a Gold player right now and there's nothing wrong with that. But when you claim that you can consistently beat ("utterly dominate") Plats and Diamonds yet you think RoA and Tear is the best opening for Syndra (it's not), then you draw the ire of many.
For your situation, it's a two-way street. Act with a little bit of class and realize where you are as a player; people won't be so eager to jump on you. Drop the superiority complex.
Overall, I think our community is at a good place: we have a solid staff, a surprisingly active and fun in-house system, and we only look to aim higher come Worlds and Season 4.
I am never against challenging the status quo of TL LoL. If you think you can make us better, then lead the way. What I am against is disrupting the status quo. I will not tolerate users or acts that make our community a worse place.
If there are any comments or concerns, don't hesitate to PM me.
Thank you for your time.

Seems like a fair and balanced outlook on all sides.
Kind of like CNN, except actually fair and balanced.

Moonbear in the middle of his sage advice decides to reference Field of Dreams and totally makes me forget what he was talking about in the rush to post this post. :|
More on-topic though, what do you guys think of the place for splitpushing in LoL? I tend to do it almost every game, and I think it's one of the best strategies and one of the easiest, but I'm not very smart and I'm probably being biased because it takes away so much responsibility from the splitpusher (usually me). It is affected partially because I play mostly characters like Vlad, Rango, Shen, and Nidalee, but do you guys think it's overrated? My friends often tell me so.
Also, thanks for the post Neo. TL LoL has gone through a lot of changes these past few months, and I expect that they will only begin to increase as LoL inevitably grows. I think after this season there's going to be a lot of casual LoL fans going to find out more about the professional scene and a website to discuss such scene, and inevitably some will find our little Team Liquid here. But yeah, you were a lot more diplomatic than you needed to be, but I'm all about diplomacy ^_^

People in general I find are just SO BAD at dealing with splitpushing, though it can also be a double-edged sword with the other 4 members of your team not realizing a 4v5 is probably a bad engage.

Well I still only really play normals but I know that when an enemy starts splitpushing properly it is one of the most frustrating things for me to deal with, especially if they are already ahead it pushes their advantage so hard. But we probably just don't react well.

But I think it's important to realise that what Day[9] achieved was not only due to hard work but also had several fortuitous and unique factors that worked out. For instance, TL was the de facto place for Starcraft. That made it simple to target the vast majority of the target audience you specifically want while also being able to interact with them on an almost personal level and not being so distant. Now-a-days for many titles, the fan base is spread out thinly through many sites and it's hard to be able to have such a convenient method to both gain exposure as well as interact with people outside of your product in the same way.
But to be honest, it's also a bad idea to go out with a specific plan to try and "make it big" in the YouTube age. While TotalBiscuit says some rather odd things at times, he has said one very good piece of advice many times that I think has a lot of truth and wisdom to it. People make it big with video content like on YouTube sometimes more by accident than anything else, because they put in the effort and dedication to make something people enjoy.
Just focus on creating something that's great, and most importantly, something you enjoy doing (so that way slaving away at it for $0 won't feel like such a drag). Build it, and maybe they will come. If they go, awesome. If they don't, at least it was fun right? The funny part about all this is that Diamond simply said he wants to do it and needs help, and all the criticism of whether it'll work or not or be successful came from forum posters.
One of the problems with content creation is that if you don't get the views, sometimes, you don't get feedback you need. Sometimes you need improvement in areas that you haven't even thought of, which is especially true when it comes to very technical things.

I think you underestimate the amount of damage new triforce does, especially paired with BT or IE (or both). Blue Build was nice, because you could essentially run a full dive/skirmish comp without sacrificing your AD to getting caught and wrecked in fights. But, if you're in a standard team comp, that can peel for you decently, and still make use of Ez's insane ability to peel for himself (even without blue build), then there's no reason not to run Triforce Ez.

Consider it a PSA and an official word from Neo about recent happenings and what it means going forwards.
I find it sad whenever someone needs to be banned in our subforum because it means something's gone wrong somewhere, and almost every time it was avoidable in some way so let's try to all get along and be happy. ^^

This seems to indicate to me that splitpushing is really good in soloQ. http://www.lolking.net/charts?region=all&type=champion-winrate&range=weekly&map=sr&queue=1x1&league=diamond
Nid, Kass, Trynd, and Teemo Top 10? Singed is usually pretty successful as well.

split pushing much harder to run in actual 5's, where coordination is much better (though it's still a very strong strategy). split pushing in solo queue can pretty much allow you to single handily with the game for you team.
