awesome interviews, and very very awesome games today, was blown away by the preperation and well planned builds (thorzain made at least 1 new fan today, and i hate terran)
+ Show Spoiler +as for Tyler vs Thorzain, i am really looking forward to that. Seeme like those are two players that will come VERY well prepared with a few tricks up their sleeves. Really really enjoyed thorzains overall gameplanning in both matches.
And people underestimating Tyler are fooling themselves, he took TSL2 with like 2 weeks of preperation after months of hiatus. If hes not chilling to much and putting the work and thougts into it, he´ll be dangerous to everyone in this tournament.

ThorZaIN really amazed me, It's awesome to see a fellow countrymen win over a player like FruitDealer and the games was very entertaining to watch aswell.
Imo the best series of games in from Day 1 of TSL3. I was looking forward to see BoxeR duke it out but the games weren't close to the entertainment value that ThorZaIN and Fruitdealer provided.

It's too bad the Koreans are playing with such lag, but what can you do I'm just glad we have them in the tournament
|
My bracket is still holding up! :D
|
Woot woot, nice interviews
|
The lag factor is seriously taking the massive, epic excitement I had for this tournament and shattering it.
I just can't enjoy a game knowing that every little detail is not as fair as possible between the two players. I feel like it was obvious that lag was dictating Boxer's very reserved playstyle against Nightend
|
Really nice interviews, and i'm so happy for Thorzain, can't wait to see him against Tyler. Thorzain's TvZ/P is pretty sick!
|
Was wondering why Boxer was uncharacteristically passive. I was disappointed but then i guess it is all justified. The earthquake is really unfortunate and messes up international connection from KR to overseas servers.
That said, credit to Thorzain though. He came up with solid builds and showed GSL level plays and execution as well as "starsense" Pretty impressive how meticulous he was with scanning the burrowed banelings.
I look forward to Tyler vs Thorzain because i feel like it will be a battle of preparation and who can come out with better builds and execution as they seems like very similar players.

I agree that lag takes away from the tournament, but I understand if you're going to have an international tournament online this problem may occur even between europe and USA... and they can't just fly everyone over.
The production value was the best I have ever seen in an online tournament, the verdict for the disconnect was just and well reviewed and the casting was tiptop (except excessive fanboyism from a certain somebody ).
The "fan comments" is so funny to read, we're almost on par with Justin Beiber fangirl-esque worship.

TSL3 manage to set the bar for a well-run tournament so high!!! Seriously, this is the best combination of pre-game hype & interviews, smooth casting, excellent games, and this perfect recap.
TSL3 is the gold standard for all future tournaments to strive for!!!

Really great tournament and interviews! props to everybody in TSL!
LOVE it!

Awesome interviews, high quality production as usual, props to all the staff involved in the TSL.

Oh well, their loss since he's going to be winning the whole thing.
Also, YEAH BOXER!!! agreed Tyler smashed people dude.... like no joke

Really nice Recap and awesome day 1 of this great tourney :D
PS: How cool to find myself in the Fan reactions

Nice recap and interviews! Thanks TL for being awesome.

This is the single best tournament i have ever watched EVER. for more reasons than i should probably post here, but i feel i need to share some anyways 1. This tournament has THE sickest production value of any tournament and since it is spaced out you really feel it and you get into every match. The pre/post game interviews are just phenomenal and lets not forget the art that was made for it and the fan reactions, all this combined just completely made me love this tournament. 2. Player Pool, this tourny has some of the sickest players and some underdogs that are defiantly skilled (like Thorzaine proved today!!!). I mean you really get into every players story and how they explain their mind set and the Brackets people made is just amazing. 3. IT IS THE TSL.... Seriously what more do you want =O

right 8 hours is enough time for me to sleep to bed a go dam time zones making me get up at 6 am

Aren't they alternating between Korean servers and EU/NA for the Korean players based on seeds?
