Can you still find out what your unranked MMR is?
Also, isn't it better to play Techies for the high KDA than Zeus?

With Techies, I always go like 32/17 even when we lose (which is often because I can't end games as Techies, so the games just drag on)

its not KDA its hero damage dealt (for smurf detection on new accounts)

which is why zeus is so reliable although others could work (furion) i guess

Ur mines dmg buildings u know, no reason for the game not to end just go mine towers. (ur q not ur ult)

Plus the new mega and super mega creeps. By previous updates, they are all going to drop that stuff at once. And they did just redesign the map too. You know, little things.

What do you mean for smurf detection?

Let's say I do my calibration matches. Techies suicide is 1150, isnt that pretty good for hero dmg?

1150 every 300s or what-the-fuck-ever and u have to get into melee range is a lot worse than 275*5 every 2 mins or w/e from wherever. and thats level 1 ult, ignoring chain lightning and bolt spam

zeus is the king of hero damage. its all he does.

I'm talking about the abuse-case where ur literally only trying to get max hero damage for MMR purposes and don't care about the actual dota game.

I think the abuse accounted for hero damage and KDA and the win/loss didn't matter.

I suppose Zeus is pretty in the end, but Techies feels also relatively good with using mines to farm LHs, multiply your kills without being in immediate danger and expand on hero dmg.

I really need to get my "Celestial" DOTA2 account up to matchmaking and just spam out Zeus games to see where it ends up.

Be really interesting to compare against my main. Especially as I don't actually play Zeus much.

They were ambiguous in the patch notes, but I think they basically tweaked the calibration algorithm to not take hero damage into account as much (or at all)

I think you missed the boat for finding your unranked mmr. iirc when ranked first came out there was a console command that showed your mmr that everyone was using during calibration

and didn't valve fix zues abuse?

The Zeus abuse is assumed to have been fixed in a small update like 2 weeks ago. They didn't say exactly what was fixed though. Need confirmation from Zeus pickers who are now calibrating to 3k instead of 5k
