Our team is Rubick, Siren, Furion and Kunkka. I say "no more carries please". Fifth person picks AM.
AM starts with QB and Ring of Protection first and lanes bot with kunkka. I'm thinking fuck he's probably going vlads first, lmao this game is gonna be good.
He picks up a DD rune and says, "fb bot". LOL?
He proceeds to build Ring of Basilius --> Ring of Health. I shit you not, no stout, no vanguard, no pms. His farm is absolutely terrible and he derps around in fights and pushing lanes instead of trying to maximize farm (although this happens so often with pub carry players that it's almost not even an insult anymore).
At 20 minutes, no signs towards Battle fury. At 25 minutes, he has a javelin.
At this point my brain exploded and I asked him why the hell he has a javelin. He doesn't respond.
At 30 minutes, he has a Basher. I'm pretty pissed off now so I beg him to him start building non-retarded items.
Me: AM can you please build a manta style?
AM: Why would I need a manta style? I prefer killing people instead of just burning their mana.
Me: Manta gives you DPS.
AM: Well, I play my own way.
lmao. Thankfully I was queuing with 2 other TL'ers and we managed to carry the game and win anyway. After we have 2 lanes raxed, I couldn't resist having another jab at this idiot.
Me: Thank god we won despite AM's retarded item build

I see your point, but you have no idea of their game history. You're looking at yourself with knowledge of your past games and just looking at this specific game for your allies. Maybe they had been playing cm for the last 40 games and felt like playing juggernaut, you just don't know. It's the same logic people use when they flame people for being bad. Even if they fed the game before they will still flame their allies if someone else is doing bad in this particular game where they themselves are doing well.
Sometimes people just pick like retards though, but imo if you want a good lineup you can't rely on other people. Support roles are not as appealing to play as carry and so on for most players. A lot of people can't be arsed picking good lineups in pubs either.

Obviously 35 minutes in is bad, bad, but if you're facing, say, a spectre, or similar "farm for 40 minute hero", and you have a good start with druid.....double midas is completely viable, especially if there is a chen or ench on the other team.

Chen + omni + undying + veno + OD. PUSHING THE SHIT OUT OF US. Too much healing to take on in a fight, and you need like 3 diffusals to purge enough stuff to actually kill. How are you supposed to win vs this? Bullshit combo.
Makes me wonder why we haven't seen omni in comp; really strong 1v1 laner and can win you teamfights outright even if you get initiated. You can't burst him down every time since he can just repel himself and screw you over big time if you don't have a diff carrier.

I don't think Omni is a very strong 1v1 laner, and that's probally one of his biggest issues. He is not a great babysitter and isn't that great at mid as well, much worse than popular mid heroes like QoP, Invoker, Rubick, Furion, etc. Kinda like Ogre Magi, I feel that he is very awkward to lane and that really hurts him, even if his spells are very good. It is fun to do gimmicky lanes like Omni+Clinkz or Weaver in pubs though.

Omni is an amazing laner, even 1 v 1......what he is not is a good babysitter. Omni plus just about anyone is a pretty solid lane, and if your opponents need to be in melee range or clos to it to deal damage, he is straight up OP in lane. However he just sucks giant sweaty balls when he can't keep up in levels, unlike virtually every single other babysitter on the planet. Therefore, he is a conundrum in that he is one of the strongest laners in the game, but one of the worst support babysitters, and also can't carry........so his only real use is throwing him in a dual lane with a a stunner or slower and using his heal as a nuke, with a single point in slow for chasing. The problem is....who the hell does this in decent level pubs? This just leaves you with two decent supports who will have mediocre levels and farm when you could have an actual carry and support on a lane who will be useful past 30 minutes.

That's true, but people who bug me the most are the ones who pick noticeably later than everyone else (like when creeps are about to spawn or have already spawned) and still end up with a retarded pick. I just don't understand these people. If you want to play a particular hero then why don't you just pick him first? What's stopping you since your mind is already made? Why are you waiting so long if you're not going to make an intelligent pick? The only conclusion I can draw from these people is that they are trying to counterpick but they are just so incompetent that they end up failing horribly.

I need this thread so bad right now. I just got out of a game with a pudge that was SOOOOOOOOO bad I almost think he was an asshat trolling us to get us to lose. Course I have no proof of this but it was that terrible. Here was his item progression:
Bottle first> RoH > RoR > Sell bottle > buy 2nd RoR > Get boots*Only cause I told him to get boots* > Finish hood
Hard to believe it, but we lost the game. Sad part is we actually won several teamfights in the game when we initiated well, despite the fucking idiot Pudge. If he was even like, 1/16th decent we probably would have won.
He says in game, after I'm bitching that he's an idiot, that he's noob w/ pudge. This was at like the 15 min mark. I don't care if someone picks a hero they think is cool or want to play, but for fuck sake ASK FOR HELP IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE ITEMS TO BUILD!! Even if you think you're gonna get yelled at by your team for picking a hero you haven't ever played, you're gonna get bitched at more if you fail so miserably you lose the game for the team.
