 .So I queue with a buddy and a buddy of his whose MMR is off the charts, and I find myself in my first ever "Very High" skill bracket game ever... boy did I get my ass handed to me on a silver platter (1-8-13). Solo hard lane WR (me) against a tinker, he sends me back to base once and kills me another time, then our jungle DS swaps with me, so I go bottom and it's trilane vs trilane (almost never been in this situation before). In the end, I got a few nice shackles and shit and contributed as much as I could with damage, stuns and wards on the map, but I'm frustrated that I played SO DAMN BAD in my first "trial by fire" game. I hope will get used to these different games and improve as much as I can, though :D. We won, but I got carried hard. | ||

So, now that my plan is down the drain I solo hard lane vs Windrunner, which is OK. Suddenly Lone Druid appears, apparently noticing that his jungling sucks. I try to salvage whatever I can, but nope, Lycan is already too fat. He goes missing, so I ping Rosh. Nobody cares. "Roshan has fallen to the Dire", well, duh. Can't lead teams to victory when they are hellbent on losing I guess. Edit: And the Lone Druid went Headdress into Yasha into Butterfly. -_- | ||

Not a huge fan of double midas, though I haven't played druid enough to have any extensive testing on the matter... Sure the giant XP lead is nice but if the enemy actively tries to shut you down and all you have is 1,5 midas' it's very easy for them to pin you down for such a long time... As for QQ, though it seems to be popular as of late to defend Russians, yesterday I had 3 games in a row ruined by having just one of them in my team, where everyone else was doing a decently proficient job of what they were supposed to. In order of appearance, Gyrocopter laning with naga, going flak cannon stats and autoattacking creeps nonstop. Doombringer ending up with a 0-10 score going lothars, aghs, battlefury (in that order), repeatedly running into the enemy team in invis, dooming one, and then trying to escape like he was some sort of master assassin. And finally solo mid morphling who I'm not sure what he was doing, but he ended up being level 10 when I was level 16 as a dual lane Slardar. All of whom naturally never shut up in chat though clearly nobody could understand them. I know there are poor players in all nationalities, but the consistency of how often the people who are negatively affecting the entire team are Russian is just mindboggling and I have a hard time summing it up as pure cognitive dissonance. | ||

If there is a completely free lane, that will be supported by an Enchantress from the jungle, against a solo Windrunner...why would you go jungle with Lone Druid. I don't understand. The thing is, this guy obviously had no idea how to play his hero. I've posted his item build above, but he had no intention of using his bear for anything. The poor thing had boots 30 minutes in. Also he didn't like his ulti form, choosing to stay in ranged mode all game, even in situations where he needed HP. | ||

I had 122 last hits but my bear was pretty much full inventory and I had phase boots + vlads. Pretty sick. | ||

On my own side.....i keep randoming huskar.....and i really enjoy the hero concept, but just do so bad. I usually end up even, but...that's not huskar lol. I think my problem is ganking. So far i do fine in mid lane, i go E/stats until 6 then get some points in Q and more stats. I just get to low-ish hp and push whoever i'm facinng out of the lane most of the timel ol. But I think my problem is ganking. Do I gank at 6? wait till i have treads and a bracer or something? i dunno. i usually end up hanging out in mid too long, I think, i've even waited for treads and armlet in one game, but I think that's way too long in mid. I can usually last hit well enough, but not spectacularly or anything, i can get a 100 in 20 minutes or so in lane most of the time. | ||

first 3 games ruined by leavers the last game im pudge mid and huskar decides to join in, die repeatedly to tinker and not do anything. There needs to be an option to vote for a ruined game ... or at least some kind of dickhead-o-meter | ||
