Wex/Exort is all damage no utility. You get run over in lane without cold snap as a deterrent.

Create a new guide for Q/E because the style is completely different.

I think QE is more common than QW, so it would make sense to change the current guide.

At the same time, people following it might get confused since you've pretty much only ever covered QW voker so far. Maybe put a link to the new guide in the description if you do change it.

Up to you. I think having both is a good step.

Pretty sure QW is easier to start with and then move to QE later when u have "mastered" QW first.

So i would keep the old, make new and make a link from old to new.

i feel like QE is easier. forge spirits and cold snap are easy, and with some help, even sunstrikes are easy

Well Tornado Emp Cold Snap is even easier imo, only thing u have to know is how long the tornado lasts so u can time ur emp.

QE is definately easier as a newer player. You get easy last hits, easy kills, and easy towers with forge spirits and coldsnap. QW is way harder because you have to depend on your team somewhat.

For shadow shaman, according to dotabuff, max shackles then hex has the highest win rate with the second most popular build rate. So I tried the build and got a 5 streak win in a row. It's better than max ether shock I think.

He can be played both ways, but it is hard to flash-farm with just disables.

Slark's situational Midas needs a description saying when to get it and what to replace with it, or it shouldn't be there. Otherwise, pub slarks get it too late and kill their timing window, or 6-slot on <3k gold items.

Simply slotting it in leaves them with {Aquila, Treads, Midas, bottle/wand, quelling blade/TP, shadow blade} at 8000 gold, still leaving them quite squishy and with a choice between QB and TP. And their next item is the relatively cheap Echo Saber.

Doesnt invoker want to open up wex after 4-0-4, not after 4-0-5? double 4s gives u double forge spirit which is the first checkpoint with QE invoker

Also u certainly dont start with invoke lvl1 and u cant lvl invoke 4 times (or did i miss something? isnt it 7-7-7-3 + 1 in stats maxed?) u start with 1 invoke, no?

EQEQE QEQWE ERERW RWWWW WQQQ+ most common.

Some situational items, Shivas and Refresher, both extremely good for invoker, maybe Refresher isnt the item u want to have in guide tho. Other items are fine imo.

It's in the situational items. They're not default buying it unless they can see an advantage.

Doesnt invoker want to open up wex after 4-0-4, not after 4-0-5? double 4s gives u double forge spirit which is the first checkpoint with QE invoker

Also u certainly dont start with invoke lvl1 and u cant lvl invoke 4 times (or did i miss something? isnt it 7-7-7-3 + 1 in stats maxed?) u start with 1 invoke, no?

Some situational items, Shivas and Refresher, both extremely good for invoker, maybe Refresher isnt the item u want to have in guide tho. Other items are fine imo.


I can remove Refresher Orb. I thought it was good??

Level 1 Invoke is a mistake because the hero builds server no longer align with how Invoker can be leveled now. Nothing I can do (let me check).

Oh all righty then with the build.

Refresher is really really good for invoker like i said but for someone who is using guides its really optimistic to expect them to use refresher to its maximum potential.

Maybe have it situational and have description where u tell its really good if u can use it, but pretty much useless if u cant (no stats whatsoever)

Hero Builds are used for people from sub 1k to 4k (even 4.5k). So you have to offer what's good and not "what's expected" of them.

Situational Items are for items between Extension and Core.
