But the whole pro build thing is also true for many of the "niche" heroes in Dota, but it doesn't make pro item/skill builds wrong or bad for a guide by any means.. sure pros do what they do bc they are good but saying that it's not good in a guide is such a cringe worthy falacy (I don't mean this as a sleight towards you btw) | ||

What's changed now is that no one runs him in the offlane to scale into a carry, so all his items focus on initiation or building up to initiation items. Taking that into account, it's rather curious that his basic item threshold cost 8750 gold. | ||

There are very few games where void gets items past those but when he does, BKB, Refresher, and BoTs seem to be the items, with BKB generally prioritized first. This basically means throwing out most of your current build though, and pubs will be confused because "void no farm item no dmg wat?????? noob guide" and it will take 5 years before they figure out that void isn't a carry anymore. | ||
