I can't find ones without korean on them. Do they exist? I have found them on ebay for 26 dollars. Are there any equivalent keyboards that I can buy in America?
I may not have the collectors edition, but my copy of sc2 is signed by Jaedong :D UPDATE: also by MC

Pretty much every single other rubber-dome keyboard is going to be an equivalent.

There's nothing special about the DT-35. It was just widely used because of its low price and wide availability.
Might makes right.

Why not just get ones with Korean on it? Not like it changed anything. Oh wait there's an extra button near the spacebar

No, not all cheap keyboards are equivalent. I'm using a cheap microsoft wired keyboard right now, and I have ghosting issues. Plus it's built with lower profile keys, which I hate for gaming.

1) Get it with Korean, no difference whatsoever
2) It's not a special keyboard at all, just pretty cheap and not bad.

IMO Razer's Blackwidow Stealth is the best keyboard I've used and worth the price, as are some other mechanical keyboards. If you play seriously I would buy one.

Once you go mechanical you can't ever backpedal

The differences between the top mechanical keyboards are minor, but I like Das the most. Especially the tenkeyless (no ink)

lol @ kids thinking mechanical keyboards are essential for serious playing, every OSL/MSL champ won with a "shitty" keyboard.

Isn't paying more than like $10 for one of these contrary to the whole point of them?

And Wayne Gretzky scored 92 goals with a wooden stick.

What's your point? They're an improvement, and they a relatively new entrant in the peripherals market.

Dude, fucking Jinro replied to your thread. It's over, get a mechanical now and stop this DT-35 thing from 2005, PLEASE.
Also, I have a filco majestouch and it's the best keyboard that I ever put my hands on. Wouldn't trade it for NOTHING.

My understanding is that the DT-35 is a good keyboard, apart from being cheap and widely available in Korea.

A mechanical keyboard will not improve your game per se, but you will almost certainly enjoy using it more than any low-end rubber dome. It's about feel, not skill.

Solid mech keyboards werent around in their day, but are more of a recent phenomenon. Not trying to say that a better keyboard makes you play better, but when you can complete actions faster with a more responsive/better keyboard, it's going to give you an edge in such a fast paced game like sc2 (especially where we dont have the bugs and delay lags with the bw UI).

There's a reason why a growing majority of professional players use them, dont kid yourself.

Start programming. You'll switch to an US layout very fast.

OnTopic:
I do have a QSenn DT-35, it's decent. Imho it's better than the cheap logitech/cherry ones, but that may just be my imagination.

If you have the money you'll probably be better off with a mechanical - but I personally spill too many beers into my keyboards. And killing a 15$ Qsenn is just better than killing a 150$ mechanical (I also use that keyboardskin thing which comes with the qsenn so extra protection!).

Being on a team which is sponsored by a keyboard manufacturer might be a reason
