http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=246791 Setting affinities may help some, but I don't recommend it. Neither does R1CH in his streaming guide: Some guides recommend setting affinity so your streaming program and SC2 run on separate CPU cores. I don't really recommend this as it just limits performance, if you want to ensure your SC2 doesn't lag at the expense of your stream, simply set SC2.exe to High Priority in task manager. Source Oh, and there's nothing wrong with streaming a 480p stream with a stable 1Mbit/s upload speed. It works fine - stop saying otherwise! ![]()

Like others said it's your processor. Yes, it's good, but if you want to stream HD without feeling anything simply OC to 4, or 4.2GHz.

EDIT: Heres an example: http://www.twitch.tv/zoohairz/b/292533138 then at the end of that stream i stopped streaming, but it was still choppy. Then i closed xsplit and everything went back to being 100%smooth. Im just confused as hell almost like Xsplit is causing some kind of memory leak or something.

Thanks to "winGar" who msged me in-game with a solution. Surprisingly, it fixed it. The solution was to completely turn off Windows Aero, by selecting Windows 7 basic in themes. Xsplit turning off aero doesn't actually turn it off fully, apparently, since it still runs in processes. THX DUDE!

I can't explain your experience, but I'm feeling sure it just diminished the problem, not remove it? Watch your SC2 ingame framerate when start Xsplit. Feel free to comment on this. ![]()
