Gmarket, Korea has a website where you can buy 2 types of Qsenn keyboards. At first I was ready to check out, thinking it was the DT-35, but then noticed it's the GP-k 5000 plus.
I hit back on my internet browser a few times and found the DT-35 in my "Qsenn" search criteria, and noticed "wow...it doesn't look as cool, and it doesn't have a small wrist rest on the bottom". These are good attributes to have right? Or is the wrist rest bad?
Since I have not been able to test out either of these keyboards in person, I have no idea if the wrist rest is good, and if it's a more comfortable, faster keyboard. The only thing I'm sure of is that the GP-K 5000 costs 2,000 more wan, and looks good in blue! Could someone who has tried the GP-k 5000 recommend it over the DT-35? Or is the DT-35 better? Or are they just about the same?
Also, I'm pretty sure this thread is ok to post since I couldn't find any threads commenting on the GP-K 5000.
thanks!

Hi, would you mind removing the link so the OP doesn't look like an advertisement?

That K 5000 sure looks interesting, but I think I'd stick with my DT-35. I've been using it about six months now and I'm not a fan of wrist rests. I highly doubt the keyboard is faster-- I highly doubt ANY keyboard could be significantly faster than the DT-35.

The link was removed. I look forward to more comments! Buying a keyboard is a big deal.

why would waste money on a membrane kb just because koreans use it? why not buy a real kb which will last for more than a year?
not trolling, genuinely interested why so many people practice false economy.

Koreans don't use mechanical keyboards? They are the best!

Because keyboards don't really matter, the greatest of the greatest champions won many of their OSLs and MSLs on these 5 dollar junk keyboards.

Don't you DARE call the Qsenn DT-35 a 'junk' keyboard! O.O
Best keyboard ever, I'm serious.

I secretly always wanted one so I could be like my favorite progamers but didn't have money when sc mecca put them up for sale .
EDIT:I HATE THIS BROWSER AT SCHOOL THAT DOESN'T CORRECT MY GRAMMATICAL AND SPELLING ERRORS.

There are some Chinese sites you can buy them from for like $20, but shipping can sometimes be intense. For me, it took $50 total. It was worth it.

If they weren't obscenely expensive to ship to Canada, I would totally buy 2 DT35s (one black and one white) and do that sweet checkerboard thing MKP and San do.
I looked up the GP-K 5000 and it looks fairly similar, but I still prefer the look of the DT35. They appear to be almost the same, but just a little different stylistically.

Would this not be suited more for the tech forum? Anyways they both seem like nice keyboards.

I got my dad to buy me three QSENN DT35s for about $10 (₩11000)each when my dad went to Korea for work. I swear, it's an amazing keyboard. I'm a pretty fast typer (500 characters per minute) and keyboards I used to have caused huge strains on my fingers. The DT35, however, is so easy to press on, and it clicks very nicely when I type. It's very fun to play starcraft with the beautiful clicking noises haha. I totally recommend it.

edit 2: hope this is okay to post but i dont think they are expensive...less than $30 bucks and free shipping.

I recently bought a DT-35 and soon after replaced my cherry mx blue mech keyboard with it. Its as good if not better than a mechanical keyboard imo, for a tiny fraction of the price. I have tried many keyboards, membrane expensive 'gamer' ones, and mechanical ones black/brown/blue. For the price, nothing beats the DT-35.
I'd like to additionally note that many pro gamers now use mechanical keyboards due to sponsorship. Have you seen the keyboards that the slayers team are mostly all using? (razer marauder)... poor guys.

Or are they still using the DT-35. They use it because they are used to it. Changing keyboard after playing the same game with the same keyboard for 10 years isn't exactly easy. If i remember correctly the dt35 is used in many pc bangs which also makes their lives easier. correct me if im wrong about the last part. I know that. But given that the SC2 guys, a lot of them at least are BW guys, and that they are changing, is it because they changed keyboards during the change from BW--->SC2. Though if you watch the GSL, a lot of BW guys still use the DT-35. (NaDa, MKP for example).
