I have never tried Razer mice before. Would be cool to know. Is it just small differences in dpi adjustment?

I know it is great for FPS gaming though. I am debating either the g400 or the ec2 evo at the moment. I dont find the switches at all stiff, its a really great mouse and I strongly recommend it. I do own a g400 aswell but prefer ec, actually I like it more than any of the mice i've had along the years; deathadder, xai, sensei, mx518, kinzu, ikari or intelli 1.1

Thanks! ![]() I just want to say. Deathadder fit my hand better than the mico. But I liked the small mouse feeling better than the ergonomic fit. It feels like you got more control of the mouse when it is smaller and also lighter. (less momentum etc.)

While my hand did feel more relaxed with the Deathadder, I always felt like I was more accurate with the MiCO / G1 / G9x. So I stuck to smaller mice.

I'd plan on using it at 1600dpi. I'm using the Sensei now (same sensor) and its not really noticeable. Also, with so many pros using the G9x it can't be too bad ![]()

I'm love how much you can customise the G9x and if it performs just like my current mouse then I'd probably be very happy with it.

the acceleration is no problem. otherwise players ike mkp or jaedong would not use it. when i got my mico i measured it against the g9x and found out that optical 800 dpi of the mico is nearly the same as 850 cpi of the g9x laser sensor. the exact number was something like 800dpi mico = 840 cpi g9x geeeeeeeeeeek

Starcraft players aren't really the best source of how accurate a mouse may or may not be, or how much a mouse's acceleration will effect you. Plenty of players also use Steel series laser mice that have pretty notable acceleration. It would seem that, as far as Starcraft is concerned, sensor accuracy and tolerance of sensor acceleration is more a preference than requirement, in the way it is for first person shooters.

Its preference not requirement as said, while one may enable higher mechanical skill, most games are decided in other ways at the highest level I kinda wish that more games could be like this: If there was a lot of benefit to being able to use a mouse well, people would do it, but there currently is not really, at least not past a certain level, well, maybe there is, but it seems like such a low priority to abuse that

I just got inspired to turn off auto mine in HotS! Do you happen to know if many pro players assign thumb buttons for control groups? I am having some hard time reaching for 5-6 key for main building. Just curious if you might know. Planning on trying out the CM Storm Xornet or Spawn.

Is there any way to customize the DPI? If not, how could I make it closest to 900 DPI? And will changing the sensitivity inside the razer driver(not the windows pointer sensitivity) affect the 1:1 ratio. Thanks!
