I really love Bunny, it's so refreshing to see someone who has such unabashed passion for the game. His play has been top notch recently and he seems to really care about the game. I remember him being asked about a unique build he did once, and he talked about how he was drunk when he came up with it. It just indicated to me that even when he's off having fun, he is thinking about his true love, Starcraft. That being said, while I would like Bunny to get a deserved win, my money is on Maru. I would love to see his heartbreaking world championship loss give him back the eye of the tiger.

Not to bring up the GOAT debate, just food for thought. Its just that he hasnt won one before, and that was his best shot at winning one and he choked. It hurst us, being his fan, as much if not more than it hurts him internally. And there is the thing that Maru hasnt won a single Bo7 Grand Final, outside of G5L, for the last 14 months despite making 6-7 other Finals.

Maru will practice with team-mate and friend, Ryung but neither Byun, Cure or Bunny have a terran team-mate who plays at a similar calibre one of them gets TIME (pretty sure TIME can speak good korean, right?)... then there's GuMiho and INnoVation. question is, how important is communication with your practice partner? they could practice with the EU terrans but maybe the language barrier will reduce the effectiveness of their practice. like if they want to practice a certain timing attack or scenario, it would be difficult to communicate the nuances with a non-KR speaker anyway, I'm excited to see what each of them brings. TvT is the best mirror and there is room for shenanigans. remember when Maru played SUPER weird a few seasons ago against Bunny? ghost builds, mech and a stupid amount of early-game ravens? I'm sure that they will be trying to mix things up to surprise each other

at IPL 5 Vegas, they hosted GSL and did the semifinals and final in the same weekend, so that was close!

I’m rooting for him or for Byun Maru the type of guy to only proxy rax or 3 cc in tvt. I mean... As probably the GOAT next to Serral, I trust his judgement but I feel like this is definitely his worst matchup. Personally would love to see ByuN win for the raw emotion that will ensue.

Like in the interview for this GSL, he said Ryung couldnt help him much because hes just a "yes guy" to Maru, Byun is more helpful in critiquing Maru build, but that push Maru into playing like Byun even more.
