Why? Even if Protoss had mammary glands they don't even have mouths with which to suckle.
I'm confused.

In the end, it's a little ridiculous to speculate, since the entire design of the Protoss is just overtly anthropomorphic.

I believe thats why rohanna was so eager not to sever the bond in the campaign. What man could pleasure her perverted desires without the khala? The question now is, how will beeing severed from the bond that telepathically kept them together influence Protoss - relationships. Think of the kids, divorce is never good.

At the end of the campaign it gets mentioned that Amon(or what his name is), changed the protoss. So they probably were simple mammals 3000 years ago and nipples date back to that.

If you have an abusive step dad-- let's call him Amon-- who tinkers around in your genes and takes away your nipples... I dunno, divorce might be for the best.

Rohana even viewed mouths as disgusting and primitive in the campaign. I have no idea whats up with protoss physiology. adepts have breasts because no other protoss female has breasts that we can see edit: I take this back. Back in BW I just had the feeling like he was a lot cooler in general. His character was gruff and curmudgeonly, kind of like a Protoss version of Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino. I just don't get that vibe from him anymore. He just seems like generic-old-man-mumbling-cliches-about-prophesies kinda guy these days. I haven't really gotten into LoTV (it's been tough getting past those nipples), so maybe his character gets more interesting.

Having more than two genders, on the other hand, gains less gene mixing, but makes reproduction a lot more complicated by the necessity of having individuals of each of the genders around for reproduction. Which i guess would lead to some competetive disadvantages. So i can see two genders being an optimal solution under a lot of circumstances, and apparently on earth most species also gravitate towards having two genders.

Just makes me wonder why blizzard didnt give the campaing protoss girls a bigger rack. Copying so much from LoL so why not also give the fans some sexy characters to look at while palying aswell. Also lol at you guys wondering about the science of photosynthesis and how viable its actually for the protoss race. This is a universe with psionic powers and everything. Who is to say the way protoss gets energy from stars is in any way similar to the plants on planet earth. Maybe its magical.

"They(terrans) speak with orifices" when questioned why terrans are lower beings As to boobs, they mostly wear armour so Either Selendis and co. have thinner boob armour, or adepts have thicker boob armour. Or the more interesting theory, the adepts are trying to seduce the terran units.

Blizz didn't put any "boobs" to female protoss characters overall and in BW there were no nipples as well. But also Blizz tends to "feminize" protoss woman in SC2 which is not really surprising. I bet you wouldn't distingush Raszagal from other males if there were no voice over. I am glad that this is brought up here in TL.net

All the girls on shakuras are crazy over Zeratul and his sexy nipples. Its well known, in fact, its a trending topic on the khala #Zeratulnipples. Zeratul likes to spend time in the void to avoid the constant harassment from fangirls.
