Low graphics means you care about spotting cloaked units. High graphics means you care about being able to tell apart Protoss warp ins and buildings. Those are both tactical advantages that you can only have by going one way or another--can't have both advantages.

I don't think these are relevant advantages/disadvantages that will affect your gameplay. I used to play on low but medium looks much nicer and I'll stay with that.
