why is everyone surprised by this, i thought it was well known that david kim hates terran ever since the retarded ghost snipe nerf. its just sad that with every patch they have been reducing terran options whilst increasing protoss/zerg options in terms of viable units and strats.
there are what now, 2 maybe 3 top terrans that can compete with the best of the other races? what a joke lmao. i can't imagine how many championships flash should've won by now if he had played toss at the start of hots like he wanted, but he had faith that blizz would fix terran first like they had promised at the end of wol....nope.

Everytime there's mention of a protoss buff terran players raise high hell. They miss the days of the 1/1/1 and scv trains.

Did you all Terrans know that mutas die against MARINES? Yes, MARINES. So stop whining please!
On topic, approve the changes.
Did you forget that Blizz buffed the crap out of mutas at the start of hots? aka the whole reason why mines can shoot up in the first place.
They still die to marines tho.
Not if you actually micro the mutas. That is why 4M was so good, the parade push forced the zerg to engage with their mutas somewhat. Because if the terran is trying to defend his own bases with marines/turrets vs mass mutas. The mutas just end up running circles around the terrans who try to stim their marines running from base to base. If you try to defend by splitting your marines and turrets, you just end up with mutas directly killing the split forces. Mutas are just too mobile and recover too fast if you just try to defend more than 3 bases.

Must suck for protoss players that they can't cry about not winning tournaments when the last 3 big tournaments have won by P... Now, they talk about have Terrans make the semis eventhough before, they only cared about the winners...

Problem with Mech is vipers and immortals, the combined upgrades wont change it.

you know, im still bitter about that ghost nerf. totally uncalled for in its current form.
Just played a few games (as Terran) without knowing the patches are through. Didn't notice a difference until I played Mech and when I checked my upgrade status I noticed there were only 2 buttons left. lol.
Babysteps in the right direction.
Now buff the tank more.
Edit: Gotta love all the TvT whines. 90% of my opponents play bio in TvT. 90% of the progames are bio-games (numbers obvioulsy pulled out of my ass, but you get what I'm saying... more bio than mech play by a big degree). But "now", Mech will suddenly turn out OP. When it was borderline unplayable on half of the mappool...

I often picture terrans rooting for their players to lose so that they can come on this forum and say 'look! look! I was right!'

I'm pretty sure it happened because of this battle:
It's kind of disgusting how many brood lords got destroyed but it was a pretty bad attack attacking with 20 broodlords into vikings/PF/ghosts with low support units on a terran favored map
Is this me or does this entire patch feel horribly underwhelming. They have waited for a while for a major game changing patch (and the game needs it) and THIS is it? Maybe I've just been spoilt by 6.79 in dota but I would like to see Blizzard do things a bit more riskily and quickly.
Getting cheesed by protoss about 90% of the games in master's, while their macro play abilities have never been stronger. As a non-korean its already very difficult to take little damage from oracle, and this will make it virtually impossible to even survive at all.
The WM nerf and the useless tank upgrade (doesnt help at all vs viper) will make terrans want to cheese zergs, or throw 2 base allins. There will be hardly any way to stop mass 2/2 lingbling muta play without WM; maybe if youre a top korean and have insane splits.
The biggest problem for me is these tank buffs+armory buffs will make mech insanely strong in TVT, with an absurd transition for them into BC's which will be unstoppable for bio players like me.
I actually don't see anything good at all in this patch, sad
I wonder if DK just saw sOs killing all terrans by opening proxy oracle every single game even loosing it because of very bad micro. And now Protoss will be able to save their oracle with poor babysit of the unit because this thing will fly very fast.. DK logic I suppose maybe he wants protoss dominate more SC2
Tank buff just seems useless, I still think the combined upgrades will be really good though. Oracle buff is just so strange. Glad I changed to protoss :D

Not sure why people would compare balancing in SC2 with DoTa and LoL. They are completing different beasts. Imagine if players were 'bound' to their heros from the start. I.E. Burning can only play AM and AM only. Don't you think he would react if AM got nerfed? The fact that teams can play multiple team comps makes balancing less of an issue. Of course, some team's playstyle/favored hero might get nerfed and thus the team is 'weaker' but it is nothing close to SC2 when your race gets nerfed/buffed.
Dota and Lol also have ban phase which makes the 'OP' heros less of an issue. That is why I think there was less 'balance' whining in BW because it was mostly about Proleague. And teams could pick the player/race for the map, so when BW was balance around maps, it didn't really upset the team balance.
