I just don't see the oracle buff having the intended effect. The unit's still not going to be harassing all game long, and no speed buff is ever going to fix that. The best it will ever be is a cool scout with revelation.

Everything else seems good. I'd love to see bio tank come back, with bio mine still being viable. Tank buff doesn't have to just mean mech.

SC2 is stale now, time to go find another competitive game to play

TvX used to be a lot of fun before they nerfed everything.

Oracle's make the game boring as now early game aggression is gone.....

Blizzard should remove Oracles, bring back the old rax times,and get rid of these boring huge maps in the map pool.

When are they going to learn that games where players expand first, followed by expanding a third time, and spend a majority of their time making workers and buildings with a 3 second or less battle that determines the game is BORING.......

They almost make me want to go make my own RTS.

He's right though. How many games out of 1000 have you gotten roaches, burrow and tunneling claws. Unless you play very non-standard, I'd say like 5.

Looking forward to all the changes. Oracles did seem a little gimmicky in pro play that I've watched. Hope now they can be strong, efficient units throughout the game. Interesting that roach burrow speed went from 2.25 to 2 now. I was thinking that 2.25 sounded a bit fast. DEM ROACHES.

The speed increase on the oracle really only helps the higher skilled players with good oracle micro. A lot of you are acting like every protoss you meet has excellent oracle micro.

I guess we got just about all couple hundred of the grandmasters right here voicing their opinions on the already incredible oracle micro they're dealing wtih??? Doubt it.

Also all the Terrans forgetting they just got their mech and air upgrades combined. Prob the best Terran buff ever. Everybody fixating on the oracle buff...

The oracle "buff" is actually a nerf to protoss because when you fly that thing to your opponent's base now and look away to macro, it'll already be there and die to marines

Widow mine nerf will probably show a lot more tanks in TvZ; Oracle buff seems really unnecessary. I do like the burrow roach speed buff though, should make for more interesting games.

Overall I really liked everything before the patch, and now it seems kinda wonky. Meh day one I suppose, time will tel..

Did you forget that Blizz buffed the crap out of mutas at the start of hots? aka the whole reason why mines can shoot up in the first place.

You haven't because it didn't really help that much before with forcefields. Now it does. The point of the patch was that it wasn't being used, and they patched it so that it has a better use. I don't understand your reply.

If nothing else, I can see this having an effect on 2base sentry timings which are very strong right now, maybe making roaches a viable way to attack a protoss third again.
