The depot at the ramp is mainly to prevent Terrans from walling in on the lowground with a depot + barracks, because you can prevent worker scouting entirely by doing that. Pylon/bunker blocks are much rarer. I've encountered this only from ONE player in the last year or so. It's vs HwaSin and he does it ever TvP and Thor rushes me every single game. Rofl. Chill. I've gotten to masters as zerg and protoss, and high diamond as terran, all playing macro. I started in bronze, and am quite proud of my accomplishments. I said I "recently" started to that, because I'm sick of it. To say "I'm the reason people leave the community" is quite stupid and ignorant. I get cheesed all the time, do I call them disgusting? I leave, lose my ladder points and play again. Don't need to say I'm "cheating", I've worked just as hard as everybody else for the past few years to develop my mechanics and decision making.
Chill. As the post above me mentioned, remember in 2010, maybe even 2011? People had to actively prevent it because there weren't supply depots there. If you get pylon blocked, truly it's your fault.

Wow this game isnt even playable anymore. As if it wasnt impossible enough to play terran these days, blizzard creates some untested UI that lags the game to a complete steaming pile of shit. A-move patch zergs must be thrilled about this.

Ok so they arnt abusing a bug or anything but theyr getting a redic winrate because of a strategy that is hugely imbalanced. Without 3 pylon block, protoss who do that would be at least a league lower than they are. If a legit player has to use a different strategy than theyr used to, they drop 100 points while theyr learning a new style, thats all, because they can actually play.
If you ladder quite a bit as zerg, 3 pylon block actually feels like a ladder point tax where you just have to accept that for every ladder session your going to lose at least 20 points because of some imbecilic protoss.

I assume that they ported the entire HotS engine into WoL with all the changes and stuff, but without optimization. It kinda makes me miss pre-1.5 WoL, since my performance was actually better back then.

If a zerg goes broodlord infestor vs a protoss and the protoss plays better they will normally win.
If a protoss goes 3 pylon vs a zerg the protoss cannot lose without playing seriously bad.
Theres a big differance.

ever since late 2011 (i think) they made it so zerg is unpunishable if they power drones to 50-60 supply while I lag behind with 40 probes and no way to make them faster. i'm an offrace protoss against zerg but I speak from the perspective of the toss, it's nothing less broken than a 3 base mass roach that delays the toss from taking his 3rd forever. Unless playing on a map like entombed then it's okay.
