It was organized and sponsored by some kind of development fund manager. with partnership for media exposure by a city of Warsaw, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. It had 5 million Euro to give out to 5 projects, but I think it's safe the assume that it being a some kind of hedge/development found it's not for free, probably % of company ownership. MoW is really the bigges recepient with over 1,3 mil $ other project that won are, voice recognition software 1mil, 800k a company that wants to turn garbage into energy by burning it. 700k for some kind of internet add placement software that recognize psychologial need to shop, shopoholics ?!? (it's very vague) and finally, 500k for machine that rolls hey, (yes hay on the field hey) into easy to burn -> turn it into enrgy thing.

Yeah I'm sure they've learned their lesson during their time as an SC2-focused organization, as evidenced by the fact that every other week we hear about them fucking up something.... lol. Yeah no, benefit of the doubt has long since been exhausted with these guys. At least they're gonna focus on another game, and as sadistic as it is to wish this upon another community, I'm really glad they'll stop shitting up ours with petty drama and management mishaps. Good riddance.

The competition/awards itself had no connection with Azubu like someone suggest, it looks like completely main stream business venture, no esports, esport preferential companies around it. WTF, this sounds like it's some kind of PR thing from the venture company, "let's show how cool and generous we are by going into random novelty niches and give some funding money, then let's display them and then dump then when it won't work out or make money if it turns out to work. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think we will hear anything from these guys expect from commercials and advertisements regarding the company who gave them the money. EDIT: I got my answer.

Bad advice. They've fucked up many times before and the manager is a scumbag, they don't deserve another chance..

Only that their customers (the players) that people say got scammed always come to these threads to say that its bs and that they are content with MoW. Why do random TL posters always think they know better than them?

If it works out and their show becomes popular it would hopefully draw more people into watching competitive gaming, which is a good thing even if it isn't SC2.

Nothing wrong with being a optimist, but thinking it's a good idea to give a bunch of unprofessional/borderline scammers 1.3 million is just idiocy.
