CranK is working with a trustworthy translator to go into great detail about the situation and what happened. I know what's been going on and I am 100% confident standing behind CranK. You can expect a lot of information to come to light in the next few days that tells the other side of the story that so far remains unexplored.
Why does crank need a translator to give his side in korean to koreans? A translation can be done post interview by someone on TL.
ummm maybe he wants it to be available in Korean and English at the same time?
That's a waste since translations go up pretty fast on TL and reddit, unless the translator is working for free, then it's a good idea.

Just to make sure there isn't any amateur translation mistakes that can't be held responsible, nothing wrong with delaying a public statement for it to be more professional.

well they want to make sure it is all translated correctly. We have some great translators on TL (<3 you guys) but its also easy to make a mistake and in this situation a mistake could be very costly.

Well the thing is, I think MMA's and Crank's rep is completely fine among foreigners and most think jessica over exaggerates things. It's the koreans that Crank has to convince of his story, not really foreigners.

While Id lovd to hear what happened from crank, ryung and mmas standpoint (alicia discredited himself with his interview) i doubt he will be able to get a positiveimage in korea from the 형해뭐 comment
If Crank wants come out with his statement,he better have tons of evidence prepared.
Jessica herself made Bosstoss come out to apologize and made the head of eSF to step down. She's got tons of evidence and she got the backing of the Korean community.

That's true In such situations, you really want things to be properly done before releasing the statements.
The situation in TL is such that if the first translation is wrong, many people will just go about thinking they know the entire situation based on the wrong translation. Most people don't look at any future edits, because they think they already know the OP. Also, if you post edits amongst replies, people don't read every post either.
Edit: TLDR - You pretty much only have one chance. Otherwise, there will be a lot of confusion.

Crank playing with fire here.
What sucks for him (and MMA) is that they don't want this to escalate any further. However, I do know that they are gathering all the chatlogs and emails as they can just in case they need to back up their stories if/when Jessica decides to retaliate some more. They are not wanting to reveal more than is needed but at the same time wanting to settle all this as quickly as possible.

Well, I think MC apologize and eSF step down is because they still want to keep the progaming scene well.

For Jessica, it doesn't really matter.
Here is a random thought.........maybe you.... know..... apologising for acting like immature kids to the slayers team and being a cause for them disbanding and creating this drama in the first place..... just an idea...... not like I got it from statements from both parties.

And they did because of the backlash from the Korean public. Look, I think what they did were wrong but if you think Jessica is perfectly innocent and these evil people just took advantage of her. You are pretty naive.

the best for them is probably stay away from th koreanscene and tournaments and stay afloat from foreign events where the 형해뭔 image will not hurt him...

Crank lied to get out of contract, from what I read. I dont really care about the yelling at Boxer stuff (though that's just sad), but breaking a contract is a no go for me. Think about what would happen if other players/companies treated their contracts the same way, just because of a whim. It's really disgusting what he did.
MMA didnt do anything wrong afaik. Acting like a baby, insulting others, but honestly, I dont care too much about it.
The bullying by ESF was bad, Jung "Garfield"' Chul actions are bad, Crank's actions are bad and depending on what the legal issue with Alicia is - that's also bad. Rest (MC, MMA, ....) is just adults acting like little kids.

What does 형해뭔 mean? ;P
according to jessica
in one of the disputes crank yelled and boxer and said
형이 해준게 뭔데...
which translates to what did you do for me anyways.
and thats not something any progamer should say to boxer for obvious reasons.
i should add that in korean forums this is now a meme
Hmm, while it was absolutely necessary to make the practice ban public (although hopefully there is some good objective journalism being done right now to reveal the extend of this ban), the internal problems with (most) of the players shouldn't have been. With the specific bias pointed out in this thread by some Korean insiders the players will never get a fair chance to redeem themselves.
Unethical behaviour from ESF: Newsworthy. Internal Slayers stuff: Tabloid "worthy".

Well to be honest their reputation is pretty ruined already. I simply can't be a fan of any player from slayers anymore except boxer and maybe ryung.

at the current stage its only crank, mma and alicia that look bad
i dont think miso, miya, genius, dark, brown, arthur etc should be blamed
min, coca, puzzle switching to lol is also nothing we should blame.

Yep, this. If they want to switch, why not? They also communicated this to Jessica it seems she's fine with it.
The only problematic people are Alicia (diva, liar), Crank (contract breaker, liar) and MMA (insulting Boxer? mistrusting management? influencing others?). All other players are completely uninvolved, except maybe Ryung, but he seems to be more like a bystander being drawn into the drama.
