The thing is... usually business targets people with money...

Then MLG has a fundamental problem. Which was the reason to abandon PPV in the first place.

uh.... riiiight...
this is the strangest move in a series of strange moves by MLG imo. you're gonna make an online tournament with a pretty bad player distribution and not the very best casters (i love Axslav though) PPV only? really?

Nice! thanks for the info

I'm in the same boat, except I'm willing to pay to watch great players, even if its an online tournament. But the 'paying for twitch, aka lag.tv', I'm not open to, untill they fix their god damn routing in Europe.

Ehh... ppv and the elephants/dishwashers aren't even intermingled? Just finalist v finalist? I'll skip this one.

Wait this format actually makes no sense. Why have this when there is a maximum of one Kespa vs non Kespa match?

I don't mind paying for the arena, because there're still live event. But 10$ for an online tournament ? No thanks ...

This seems unappealing in comparison. Some people ( like me ) already pay for sc2/esports content and not everyone has an infinite entertainment budget. its all good man, at least its better than their 20$ for a weekend 'deal'

Kind of a strange mix of players. They invite every kespa pro on the face of the earth but don't bother to invite the best GOM players. They give a ton of NA seeds while not giving enough EU seeds for Vortix/Lucifron or others who could actually win games in this tourney. Seems like they think Kespa pros are the viewer draw but I'd be more inclined to watch if they were playing against some better competition

Its Proleague vs MLG invites. And last time I checked you cant trust ESF players because they like to pull out of the leagues and blackmail organizations so good they didnt invite them less disgusting drama.

Not to derail the topic, but you realize that it was the PROLEAGUE players who pulled out of tournaments first right? And use their organization (KESPA) to bully the ESF players...right? Obviously not.

There's already way too many FREE tournies to watch that I can't keep up. No way I'm going to ever pay to watch a sc2 tournament.

I think that in the 'Regular Season' part there will be mixed matchups. And then the playoffs select the best by 'category' based on results in the Regular Season. That's my understanding based on the OP article.

no thanks. I'd rather watch IPL,NASL dont like kespa, and not gonna support them. GOMTV fighting~

I honestly wouldn't even watch this if it was free, sounds pretty boring to me.

How on eartth were the MLG players chosen? Did they just choose the top from Raleigh and just kept going down if people decline...
