They invite every kespa pro on the face of the earth but don't bother to invite the best GOM players. They give a ton of NA seeds while not giving enough EU seeds for Vortix/Lucifron or others who could actually win games in this tourney. Seems like they think Kespa pros are the viewer draw but I'd be more inclined to watch if they were playing against some better competition Its Proleague vs MLG invites. And last time I checked you cant trust ESF players because they like to pull out of the leagues and blackmail organizations so good they didnt invite them less disgusting drama. Considering that nearly all the winners of the last years MLG's ARE ESF players its still silly to not include them. And please learn the whole story before you say silly stuff. The whole story is that ESF dont keep their word and are blackmailing organizators thats simple fact and you cant deny it. I dont care what happen in bw we are in sc2 now and those are two different things and the only one who is acting non-professional is ESF. I will never forget what they did to NASL and you should not defending them because what they did was wrong and it will only encourage them to do it again and again and again. Kespa didn't keep their word so the eSF players decided not to play in OSL. They stood up to kespa and won, that's never been done before. They also helped GomTv. SC2 will be bad if kespa has a monopoly over it. What happened was great for the scene. Also they won one for the KeSPA players who wanted to play in GSL but their doucher organization said no
Let's make sure we stay on target, MLG needs to stop segregating the KESPA players from the rest of the SC2 pros. SEPARATE IS NOT EQUAL!

Hopefully I can clear up the Regular Season confusion...
There are 48 Players in the MLG vs. Proleague Invitational and each will play 24 Matches during the Regular Season.
ALL 576 REGULAR SEASON MATCHES ARE MLG PLAYER vs PROLEAGUE PLAYER

For example, Huk will play 24 Regular Season Matches, one against each of the 24 Proleague Players.

It's the opposite for me, there's <10 people out of 24 that can seriously compete with KeSPA pros.

I forget where she said it, but Scarlett mentioned that all regular season games against Kespa players was going to be on the Korean server.
EDIT: nevermind per her twitter it's one on Korea than one on NA.

PPV for an online tournament, yeah right.
I've done ppv for MLGs before, hard to justify for an online tourney.

I really can't say I like the MLG lineup, but I will take this as a collection of showmatches rather than a proper tournament.

damn that changes everything

Is there any incentive for Gold Pass members? Discount or anything...?

the korean invites are kinda meh... but the concept sounds funny, so people should give it a try (if you can watch it for free ofc!)

This needs to be in the OP or a mod edit ASAP. Probably should have made the first press release a little less ambiguous though, teehee.
I feel like this might create the opposite problem though of 576 matches of foreigners being crushed. We'll see.

i don't get it. there's gonna be 576 matches in like 3 weeks? says regular season goes from Sept 27 to Oct 15.

im guessing it is prob going to be best of 1 maybe? I actually wouldn't have a problem with it , as they are going to be playing 24 matches, but if it is BO1, people will still complain..

even so, they're listing a total of seven play/broadcast days for regular season.
that's still an average of 82.29 games broadcast per day, in bo1 format.
i are confused.
