Take said afterwads on his IRC Channel that he tries to be invited into TV Total, that he's going to write them today and all that stuff. Would be pretty funny if they invite Take and Naruto to showcase Starcraft2.

Ok, even though I don't think Stefan Raab is that funny, here is the rough translation (starting at 4:55):

----------------------------------
+ Show Spoiler +
At ZDF (comment: TV station) culture I've recently seen a report about a computer game.
Who plays Schtarkraft 2? *Looks at audience*
*repeats question*
*guy in the first row smiles and wants to raise his hand, girlfriend looks angry at him, he stops*
*repeats in english*
*audience is shaking heads*
Ok, nobody... so we can skip this part...?
Buuut, try to follow: There is a gaming show, a gaming magazin, named "for the win", where the german starkraft 2 championship is broadcastet. And the commentators are intruducing the finalists:
*clip starts*
*random girl is introducing TaKe*
*dennis is talking about how excited he is about the finals, an occuring underdog and how lucky HasuObs was that any Korean guy wasn't able to attend the finals because his visa ran out*
Yeah, bad luck if you forget to extend your visa because you are gambling that much.
*Audience laughs* (comment: Probably there's this blinking light which tells them to do so)
But now Hanfi is playing vs HasuObs.
In Starkraft 2 it is like Dortmund vs Bayern, essientally.
And the fight starts and now the tactic of HasuObs is analysed, by the commentators:
*Commentating with a lot of anglicisms*
*Commentator is surprised by forge before nexus*
*Audience laughing confused*
Ok... I'm maybe a bit old school but I would have gone Nexus first.
*He proceeds to remember the commentary*
Ok, we let an expert explain the tactic again.
*some random clip of a stuttering, impossible to understand, guy from a german TV show starts to talk random stuff*
Ok, got it?
And then it comes down to crazy duels and the commentators start to be excited as hell-
*Commentator starts to laugh about the dancing lings and jokes about Hasu bashing Hanfi with his keyboard if he would see it*
DANCINC LINGS FROM HANFI
*Clip of Joachim Löw saying: "That's nice, that's pretty nice"*
I'm excited, I'm totally excited, but I just don't know why.
The commentator is the Marcel Reif of the nerds, he's crazy like about the soccer world championship.
And this is putten to ZDF Culture, it needs to be on ZDF main at saturday 20:15.
Thus the older viewers would get something out of their TV evening.
And now there is the thrilling decision. It's getting dramatic.
*Clip about HasuObs blinkfailing into a loss*
*Audience is laughing because they don't understand why the commentators are excited*
Yeah, madness (comment: in a positive sense), isn't it?
*Audience is told again to clap hands and laugh*
What a final.
I've seen a lot Schtarkraft 2 finals, but that's the best Schtarkraft 2 finals I've ever seen.
38 Lings on the minimap, 1400 minerals and everything full of microbugs....
I have the feeling like these people will rule the world soon.
Ok, again, for beginners:
You open your computer, if you have a laptop, otherwise the plate is infront of you anyways, that's the computer. Beneath it is the mouse, with which you can move a cursor. (Comment: wtf is he talking, what's his point?) And then you doubleclick the symbol. And after that everything works on it's own.
*jokingly* Ok, I will attend the next finals, which is public viewing btw.
So Hanfi won and answers the questions of the moderators after the finals:
*Clip about a guy asking him how he prepared against HasuObs especially*
*Hanfi answers with: "Yeah, I played what I played everytime... And then I won"*
As a sidenote, it's the first time since 8 years that he is speaking with people. With real people.
*Guy looking like Bart Simpson with 40 years is shown on camera laughing*
The 1. FC Köln is doing it vice versa. They are playing what they are playing everytime... But they lose.
A fascinating insight into the spiritual world of a mastermind, Hanfi.
And now Hanfi is talking about his future plans, what shall he do now?
*Another clip about Hanfi stating that he wanted to stop playing after it but didn't know he would get that far*
*And Hanfi talking about how much time Starcraft requires and that he would like to do something different, like flying to Australia for a year to work'n'travel*
But not from Berlin, hahaha.
It doesn't look like it's that much fun.
*crying* I would like to do something different, I can't play Schtarkraft all the time
*getting serious* But that's something he should have thought about before he got the defense upgrade for his forcefield and flashed HasuObs with a dance-ling.
I had to watch one episode of "Mitten im Leben" (comment: Some stupid "reality" TV show) after that to see normal people.

Ending at 13:50

---------------------------------------------
Excuse any occuring errors

tl,dr:
He made fun about the commentators being that excited and about Hanfi yelling how time intensive SC is.

I couldn't stand Stefan Raab before this, and this certainly didn't do anything to change my mind. I guess after doing multiple comedy shows each week for years, the best way to still make viewers laugh is to just be an asshole about other people.

I have the feeling like these people will rule the world soon.

this was my favourite part.
actually, I had to laugh a few times, especially naruto's strategy talk in the beginning was hilarious. (just imagine you've never seen a starcraft match, and then somebody explains you the pros and cons of nexus first against pool first openings. basically it's just gibberish nonsense. it must sound mental to "normal" people :D)

but after all, it's Stefan Raab. he's a douchebag, who manages to make infinite amounts of money by shameless self-promotion and making fun of other people. the sc2 bit wasn't as terrible as some of his earlier "jokes", though.
first we make expand, then we defense it.

I don't feel like he really bashed on them like he normally does. There were so many moments where i crinched because I thought he was now really goin nuts about it, but it didn't happen.
It was just unfortune that Hanfy won, not to take anything away from him, but he was awkward.
Raab just presented it to a bigger audience who don't even get what this whole event is about. That makes it even more awkward. Yet it is just a mirror for our community.
Untill we don't get out of those awkward moments it will be hard to be 100% accepted in mainstream media.

It went better than I expected, the first part where they interview Take was actually really good PR. I think this will be more positive than negative. The commentators used a lot of gamer slang language, which most Germans will not completly understand. That was a bit unfortunate, and I think they should try to change that. For example, I never get the feeling that Tastosis use a lot of gamers slang non-gamers wouldn't understand, with Tasteless frequently explaining the game from a beginnerst standpoint (However, I might just not get it since I am not a native speaker). In Germany however, a real gamer slang has developed, and this makes it harder for outside people to understand and enjoy the commentating.

I tried to watch it, got stuck 2 minutes in ads and didn't see a skip button so i closed it again.
Thanks for reminding me why i never connected my TV to cable.

I think SC2 on TV is great - especially if it's on one of the major stations - even if it is in the form of comedy.
I just wish it was Khaldor there, not TaKe...

Next time maybe SC2 duo-cast TaKe & Raab? He probably tried to cast SC2, failed at it and is now jealous

making fun of german gamer language is not new ^^; . Started with a show about Wow that got picked up and the parody was insanely funny.

I think it was all pretty light-hearted and in good fun. One of the better pieces about SC2 on german TV I have seen. TV Total always makes fun about everything and for that standard it was super harmless. I mean this german casting with extensive usage of english vocabulary really is hilarious (even for insiders, now imagine outsiders hearing it)

I don't care what people say, this guy is NOT funny. He never was, never will be. Might be biased, Austrian humor is pretty different.
But he didn't bash and those were not serious jokes so he shall be forgiven.

Thats bad. This could bring some of the viewers into sc2.
The last thing we need is people who show like this in our community!

For the not german:
This show is famous for making lowest quality jokes over other low quality tv.
So you must watch other crap in tv to even understand his jokes.
Or short: a show for stupid people, that making fun about their own stupidity.
