We followed the Liquid team around San Francisco as they prepped for and played in the IPL Team Arena Challenge 3 Finals against Incredible Miracle.

Here is Part 2, which covers Saturday and both best-of-9 matches with LG-IM in the IPL TAC3 Finals.

By the end of the video the audio is strange. DoA and Kevin's voices are I think in slow motion, because their voices are deeper than normal. Anyways They should have sent HerO first for the second match. Or at least Zenio first against LosirA. Although I think HerO would have been a better choice.

amazing effort done by these guys, comming as underdogs and basically winning with 8-6 even tho the system doesnt work that way. Im glad i got to watch it live (from Sweden) and honestly i think Liquid deserved that win.
More behind the scene videos pls, its good fun to watch and to see how things work inbetween the awesome games

I will agree in that I think Taeja deserved the win. Everyone else kinda had the opportunity to give it to him and fell short, honestly. No disrespect, but I don't think anyone can say a team deserved a win when a single player gets 90% (hyperbole) of their wins.

Amazing, just amazing

Love this Kennegit, please start doing this every event - It's showcasing something I think is quite unique about Teamliquid as a proteam - The fact that everyone involved in the organization and team really knows their stuff and breathes Starcraft - No offence to Alex Garfield, Jason Lake or Odee or their organizations, but there is just no way that they could be the same capacity for their respective teams in a situation like this.

Very nicely done - And fuck me, I felt bad for HerO at the end T.T - Just makes me happier now though, that he just beastmoded Code A and his first group in Code S immediately after this event. The phoenix flame burns strong within this one!

Also, what the fuck TaeJa.. That Yonghwa-game - Chills rewatching that, that was like TvP absoloute worldclass, just perfect.

My thoughts exactly, so nice seeing everyone in the team interacting like this.
And yes, HerO's look was heartbreaking but it seems like it motivated him, his results lately have been impressive

The moment when HerO lost really broke my heart T_T. But overall, seeing all the Liquid guys in one place chilling, joking, practicing with each other make me incredibly happy. This atmosphere is why Liquid is my abosolute favorite team.

As much as I was upset for Hero, I really love that ending. He's too hard on himself and yet how serious he takes it is super inspiring. I'm sitting here in an Incredible Miracles shirt, and yet, watching this video I sort of wish Liquid won. Such a classy team, impossible not to be a Liquid fan.

Heartbreaking moments for HerO there. He wanted to avoid PvPs so badly and then had to step up to one after all. And of course it had to be Seed of all the Protoss on IM. Had TaeJa won one more game, taken out Seed a second time, HerO could have become the one to bring it home. Oh well.

Hayder, why don't you understand the top speed for 100 is higher than for 200?!!!

Well, at 200 you shouldn't really feel exhaustion or hold back energy. His argument was that for a 200 meter run you first run 100 meters. And as you will not hold energy back your first 100 meters should be as fast as a pure 100 meter sprint.

That was really great (and painful) to watch. Amazing job with this. It really needs to be emphasized that it would be absolutely awesome of this sort of documentary was a regular post-event thing.

Well, at 200 you shouldn't really feel exhaustion or hold back energy. His argument was that for a 200 meter run you first run 100 meters. And as you will not hold energy back your first 100 meters should be as fast as a pure 100 meter sprint.

Have you run a 200m? It is very draining and nearly impossible to sustain such a speed in the final straight. For almost every athlete apart fomr Bolt and Blake their top speed is about 60-70 metres, and then pretty much invariably dips slightly from 12 m/s. If your top speed is falling in a 100m, then it won't be broached in a 200m.

Obviously. Except it's not.

Edit: Look at this graph. The majority of sprinters are already losing their top speed by 100m.

Well, Hayder said it is even. The question is if the best olympic runners will conserve energy in a 200 meter run in order to not slow down later or if they run full speed all the time. If they run full power then they will reach the same top speed at 70 meters like a 100 m sprinter.

Part of what was missing from this video is the fact that Taeja manner muled IM almost every single game he won :p . The crowd was also overwhelmingly in our favor so none of us hold it against IM that they were happy to shove it down our throats :D

Another hit right of the ball park. Great job. I guess I see why they played Hero where they did in the lineup.

But I will say that great players don't have bad mus. And they can make RoPaSc mus into guaranteed wins. Hero is great. I think he's better than Taeja. Liquid doesn't need to protect him.

Poor Hero,he's wining alot lately and has goten sick good so the frustration migh have helped him in the long run.
also I hope liquid does these awesome vids for other tourneys as well, they could do the at 1v1 events as well, just telling the story of each player, probably would be a bit to much work tho.

Damn I wish they had won those final two games.... so fucking close. Still, people woulda gone ballistic if Taeja had won 9 matches for his team. Pity about Hero too though, you can hear the thoughts running around in his head tearing him up inside in that final shot.

This was such a strong half an hour. I was sad and happy. It was awesome.

Why is no one cheering for Taeja, hugging him after winning? It all seemed kinda distant, everyone was just praising him. Also no consolation hug for the losing Hero?? Why no one came to speak with him telling him it was ok?

Anyway, pure awesomeness. Make more and maybe we will forgive you for Liquid Rising.

Guys, you're missing a very important piece of the discussion. The first 100m in a 200m race isn't a straightaway - it's curved, so there's no way you could achieve your top speed in the 100m even if you weren't conserving any energy as compared to your top speed in a 100m race. And in the second 100m, you're not going to hit your top speed of course (because you're tiring).
