I am in SEA too, so....I dont really understand - what is this patch? Why is this so big? Over 1 GB, really? I have slow internet -.- So am I right in saying this is so huge because it has new look/appearance/user interface? That is all right, there is no balance etc.? Woah....if it truly is 1 GB then.....its gonna take maybe 6 hours for me -.- RIght now I am downloading the 92 MB one... | ||

Well balance changes are just unit stat changes so a pure balance patch is very small. It makes sense an interface / engine patch (they said they optimized memory usage and whatnot) is a lot bigger. Engine update, ui too, new game editor, new streaming client, new textures for low settings, new custom game interface, etc etc | ||

Does anyone have the "The Launcher is optimizing your StarCraft II install" message? That is where my progress was at 0 %. It just froze, wouldnt move. After the 92 patch is done, it says "Your installation of SC2 must be optimized before you can play. This process takes 15-60 minutes and should not be cancelled once it begins. Do you wish to proceed?" Does anyone get this ? I have no option but to click begin and...there it goes, just freezes at 0% | ||

It's basically a rather large overhaul of the entire game engine and backend to increase performance across the board and make global play and stuff like that possible. | ||

I'd say be patient and just let it run for a while before stopping it. It even says it can take up to 60 minutes, did you wait that long before canceling it? | ||

They fixed burrows not auto detonating under colossus since colossus counted as both air and ground units, maybe that messed up the colossus' ability to break FFs? If it's intentional, that's pretty big but definitely interesting. | ||

re: tempperature gauge - its working for me, and it shows my average gpu tempersture (around 63c-70c) so its a nice addition too. | ||
