Team 8 is ballin' it up now that Jaedong has a SC2 coach.
|
Sun is living up to my prediction of being the #1 Kespa SC2 pro.
Sadly the rest of the team is also living up to my prediction.
|
Jaedong has been phenomenal in the ace matches! he's the reason Team 8 are in a good position.
|
so bisu is the legalmind of kespa players and rain is the protoss hope?
|
Wonder why more teams haven't looked for sc2 coaches? They obviously help tremendously. Just look at woongjin all season. Also team8's improvement from s1 to s2.
|
Jaedong really stepping it up in round 2, cool to see.

They need people who know the game, and there really aren't that many SC2 coaches of that description (Cezanne and the Slayers dude were already signed by kespa teams).
They're probably looking to older/declining players to fill in the role.

As much as I like their success and the fact they got a coach, I believe a few weeks are a bit short to have made this difference xD

Btw does anybody know what TheWind does nowadays? Haven't heard from him in a long time and he might be interesting for the Kespa teams.

Will probably be the seeds for the WCS, according to the GOM website.

If Bisu is in the bottom of a PL ranking, then there is something wrong, very very wrong.
Like, really wrong.

I agree. He really needs to work on building more sentries, though.

If you saw his SPL games, or the games he played in the WCS Prelims yesterday, you would know exactly why he's at the bottom.

Last I heard "this is game" confirmed that:
Rain (By.Sun), EffOrt, herO[jOin], Jaedong and RorO
are all invited based on PL performance (30 points for a win, 45 for an ace win).
Soulkey and Trap were tied so they will announce at the end of tomorrow who will get a spot (maybe seeing whether Trap gets further in a bracket than Soulkey did, or whether he can qualify on his own merit?)
|
well, soulkey had MMA in his first game, thats pretty rough...
i just saw that - flash made it to the semifinals of his bracket, beating brown (who was pretty good for a while and prolly still is), losing 1-2 to sniper. - Bisu and Moon (wc3 god) met in their first games and Moon won 2-0, but failed to qualify as well.

Honestly watching the games Brown just looked bad and not the kind of bad you look when you play against someone superior, he just kept doing things wrong or taking his 3rd base way to late in both games.

Bisu's stats are so very very sad

So if Jaedong is getting a kespa seed will he not be playing in the qualifiers today?

All vods should be on gomtv's youtube channel, not sure how quick they are on uploading though. Good to see atleast jaedong seeded in, sc2 in korea needs some big name bw players to do well.

Jaedong is doing so well recently really inspiring to see him, especially with his amazing come backs in the ace games. (vs Soulkey lol!)
|
JD is officially #1 ace player, fuck yeah! ^__^
|
So are these 6 guys getting a free pass or something?
lol... JD is in the same groupe as MC according to the GOM site.
