Where can you buy this magic crystal ball that you have in your possession? I would love to get one.
Read the interview from all the bw-coaches someone translated lately. they said, they played SC2 like 2 weeks and most of them aren't even in masters...
I hate all these kids on TL, who think BW-players are Über-Humans who will instantly win anything. Remember ForGG, NaDa, July and Boxer?
edit- lol yeah hots is at mlg anaheim so I'd expect the same type of thing as what happened to blizzcon, maybe with some playing here and there.

This is a strong possibility imo, as it's something kespa could easily agree to and schedule. Since ogn/blizzard will have an agreement, blizzard will obviously promote the sc2 proleague and may pay for the teams to go to the US to showcase it. Then it's a matter of getting mlg on board.
We don't know how much of the OSL is sponsored, but as I posted very early in the thread (and I'm sure others have posted like supernovamaniac) it'd be an awkward timing for OSL as it'd be around the ro8/ro4. I also don't think korean fans would be happy at all if the OSL was played in a foreign country in what could be the last bw osl.
BW pros may play in the mlg tournament open bracket like koreans did at IPL4 but I think they'd be there for for their teamleague.

I'd be interested to see the fan reaction to Flash and how big his cheers were.
80% of the sc2 fans never played BW and most only know that Flash is a BW player who won alot.
Despite the fact that most Sc2 fans didn't follow BW I think Flash is still extremely popular, which is a weird situation but it's true. I'd expect Flash's cheers to be less than only Huk and Idra.
they'll cheer for any bw pro that goes, especially if the bw pro actually plays sc2 well. A little bit disappointing too that bw pros received little attention at blizzcon (and didn't even get like official stage recognition/shoutout or announcement at the event afaik) but will be instantly swarmed and swooned over and are a main selling point of mlg anaheim (if coming). with the only difference is that they may be playing. that's not being a fan of the bw players but just being a fan at the idea of any bw pro playing sc2.

I hate all these kids on TL, who cant form a rational thought based on proper research. ForGG nada july and boxer were all awful at BW when they transitioned. Hyun was one of the A teamers, look how fast hes improving. We havent seen anyone transition over that was actually DOMINATING the broodwar scene at the time of making the switch... until now.
Idk if any serious games will be played... and if any of the legendary top 4 will actually play in them. If they do nothing will change, people will say they didnt have enough time to practice or if they win "OMGOMGOMG Theyre so GOOODFASHDH!!" but i am curious to what MLG is cooking up to make me throw my money at them

If BW pros debut here or if they debut in Korea I'm just interested to see how their skill level and multitasking will or can even transition between the two different games. Not only that but will the flight and jet lag alter how the BW pros play as they probably aren't that accustomed to traveling? I think initially the current pros will win but it all depends on how much the BW pros have practiced and are prepared to adjust to the new scene and changes in the game.

When I read this forum I think of Gandalf reading the book of Mazarbal and he gets to the point where he says "They are coming" and rather than Orcs and a cave troll we have Bisu and Jaedong charging to the Sc2 party ruining every Foreigners dreams...then along comes Flash the Balrog and all hope seems lost..of course Gandlaf is Stephano who sacrfices himself...and dives into into the abyss that is Korea...finally coming back as not Stephano the pink zerg but Stephano the white. Mighty, wise and invincible ready to take out all comers....
ok I have way too big an imagination...ty for reading
Gonna take a long time before they get any good. Ofcourse they wont participate in MLG they gonna get smashed. Even ForGG sayd for him sc2 was alot harder then BW. And thats ofcourse becuase they very fare behind. They need 6 months full dedication to sc2 before they could be competetive.
And who knows maybe the game is just to different and they gonna go down burning could happend.
While TBLS playing SC2 is really exciting, I'm really excited to see new faces from BW, the Team 8 coach said that some players who are bad at BW are really good in SC2. Also I'm really excited to see all the other great players not just Flash, players like Fantasy, Zero, Soulkey, Horang2 etc..

welcome to real 3D graphics Flash, Bisu, Jaedong! As someone who never played BW I can say its FUGLY to look at - sacrilege I know, but the God-honest truth!
