Well, all that remains is for both Fnatic and TL to play in GSTL, Nightend to go up against a Liquid player, have the game disconnect, so he can get decision screwed by TL for the THIRD time.
AdministratorHey HP can you redo everything youve ever done because i have a small complaint?

Zenio and NightEnd played at IEM Kiev where NightEnd got some insane lag at a crucial moment where both armys was just about to get engaged. They later played regame that event where Zenio got to start 2-1 in a bo5 i believe. NightEnd wanted a regame on the last map (when the score was 1-1), so the decision was critized by some people.

I think the first time should be the TSL 3 match against BoxeR (read about it here:http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=202554) and the other should be the controversy in his match against Zenio at IEM Kiev.

Somehow I feel like NightEnD might benefit from korean training more than some of the other foreigners that have tried. He just has that genuine passion for the game and seems like a smart person. Good luck dude!

Oh lame, didn't see he was only staying for like 2 months, which isn't a full GSTL season, unless Gom does some rescheduling ala F.united/FXO last year so Fnatic can get their games out of the way first. Seeing foreigners in GSTL is always fun!

Either way, good luck and have fun in Korea!

first of all , ur trying to be funny too much .
second of all , visa for romanians in korea is only for 2 months , deathangel have same problem .
so is saying 2 months but if he wants he can go to japan and return to south korea for another 2 months of visa in about 12 hours if you know what i mean.

Hmm its good to have more foreigners in korea, but only for two months? That probably says that he doesnt want to commit as much to sc2. I dont think that two months are enough to fully gain the advantages from the korean training atmosphere and partners.

edit: Didnt read about the visa things, that makes my post entirely without point :D so good luck night end, hope you can stay more later or something...

(en) Good luck Nightend / (ro) Bafta Nightend.

I'm sure the romanian spirit of performance of old (win almost everything with no infrastructure / training possibilities / money / etc - see the football team, gymnastics, table tennis, canoe and many others) will help him learn as much as humanly possible from them koreans. And kick ass.

Man, NightEnd HAS the skill, there's not doubt in my mind about that...

But... I can't recall a SINGLE player that went to Korea and only spent two months there and getting anything out of it. The players who've been successful have been the players that have stayed there for an extended period of time. Everyone who's been there for less time seems to have STARTED to get something out of it RIGHT before they left.

So much Waxangel bashing from humorless people. I can't believe the racist joke in the BW forums about Romanians are true. I guess it just doesn't translate too well. Maybe there are just some people, eh?

GL to Nightend. Easily one of the more talented non-Koreans out there, and a Protoss to boot! Fnatic all-kill please

He`s only going for 2 months.. because Romanians can get visa there just for 2 months.. Probably he`ll return after 2 months , go to Dreamhack Summer and then go back to Korea..

It's impossible to make a decision as a T.O. that everyone can be happy with in that situation. SOMEBODY isn't going to get a good deal.

context/backstory?

Zenio and NightEnd played at IEM Kiev where NightEnd got some insane lag at a crucial moment where both armys was just about to get engaged. They later played regame that event where Zenio got to start 2-1 in a bo5 i believe. NightEnd wanted a regame on the last map (when the score was 1-1), so the decision was critized by some people.

I remember he lagged out a game in TSL3 as well on XNC and the decision was that he loses that game.

The T.O. isn't here to make decisions that will make people happy, he is here to make the right decisions.
What the right decision is, is an other question.

All the best to Fnatic and NightenD

I also think that 2 months can do quite a lot... a different perspective on the game itself can do a whole lot. They got great terrans at Fnatic, ToD and Moon also as sparring partners, and being exposed to the KR ladder will help him improve I am sure.

Really puzzled right now, I don't follow the European scene too much, but the name "Nightend" made me think of a German Zerg (who had a semi-decent showing in NASL but nothing noteworthy aside from that).

its good to see teams putting together houses and training in korea but nightend is a ways off from from being close to the skill level of top foreigner pros. korea benefits guys like sase and morrow who are trying to get over the hump of the code a level. guys like nightend and destiny could get better by simply training more hours a day

its good to see teams putting together houses and training in korea but nightend is a ways off from from being close to the skill level of top foreigner pros. korea benefits guys like sase and morrow who are trying to get over the hump of the code a level. guys like nightend and destiny could get better by simply training more hours a day

so you compare nightend with destiny? nightend just rolled over destiny with a 2-0 recently and has far better results than him...destiny is just a joke

NightEnD is a talent and hardworker. A lot of people think you need to have talent to go to Korea but i think that with hardwork and the willingness to learn is the best reason. I expect big things from NightEnD after his Korean trip :D

Well, all that remains is for both Fnatic and TL to play in GSTL, Nightend to go up against a Liquid player, have the game disconnect, so he can get decision screwed by TL for the THIRD time.

context/backstory?

I think the first time should be the TSL 3 match against BoxeR (read about it here:http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=202554) and the other should be the controversy in his match against Zenio at IEM Kiev.

Reading this again just gives me another reason to love Morrow, posting more than twice the amount of text to motivate his decision than the other judges. (Not to bash on Nazgul or MC, I just think it shows that Morrow was very serious in his decision making).

Oh lame, didn't see he was only staying for like 2 months, which isn't a full GSTL season, unless Gom does some rescheduling ala F.united/FXO last year so Fnatic can get their games out of the way first. Seeing foreigners in GSTL is always fun!

There is a good change im gonna go back to Koreea after DH summer forgot to say

After reading some of the responses in this thread, I feel ppl need to read this message from the Nightend himself that was just below WaxAngels post (which about 100 ppl replied/quoted). I believe "change" is just a mispelling of "chance".

Congrats Nightend! you always confound me with your skills.

Why would anyone think he goes to North Korea?

And South Korea is still Korea, so the title is not incorrect.

I don't know what it is but for some reason I felt like I hadn't see much of nightend lately, and I don't think he's enjoyed as much exposure or popularity as other top foreigner P's.

but I've been watching his stream from Korea the past couple days, and I have to say, i am _extremely_ impressed! Not only is he beating top Koreans, he's beating them in very impressive fashion, often completely outplaying them. He's currently top 25 on Korean GM after only a week or so. he definitely deserves more viewers on his stream, it's very fun to watch.
